  1. 1900s Scenario?

I'm experimenting with doing a 1930s/1940s build, that is sort of possible with the right mods and assets from the workshop. In fact, someone has uploaded a video on YouTube with the same kind of thing going on: But full on 1900 would be a bit tougher I think, as cities then were not the same as they were even a few decades later. Few actual cars, still a ton of horse carriages and mostly pedestrians, and a road system reflecting that. Anyhow, if you want to go for the 30's 40's look instead I can give you some tips. Otherwise I suggest googling for other games, or waiting for Anno 1800 to release on April 16.
  2. I just tried to download that extracted sim figure that is linked to (to help with scale), but the link is dead. I can download some other model of an average height person, but I thought I'd mention it.
  3. Introduce Yourself Here!

Thanks! And yes I like to apply some of my design skills to asset creation. It is an entirely new field to explore, which is pretty cool. I use a VPN most of the time for security purposes, so the VPN-supplied IP address is probably what got me flagged in the security system.
  4. Introduce Yourself Here!

Hi folks, I'm a 28 year old guy from the Netherlands, work part time as freelance graphic designer and I like to play building games. I like to play Cities: Skylines nowadays (I used to play SimCity when I was a kid but I haven't touched it in a looong time). Anyway, I'm getting into custom asset creation currently, following tutorials etc., so I'd thought I'd sign up here so I can ask questions if needed, talk about some stuff, etc. Hope to have a good time on this forum. Cheers.
