At the other end, you can find Camdon Stadium, home of the Blue Island Sting Rays. City Hall and Blue Island Court House Century Square Bayside Metropolitan Museum Although Blue Island City doesn't have an official arts district, it does have the largest museum in The Archipelago. Consisting of almost 100,000 sq ft of gallery space, it's one of the crown jewels of the cultural influence of the region. One of the most spectacular views is the night of the BMM Ball, attracting artist and celebrities from all around the world. Bayside Marina Sports!! 3. Wade City: Overview

WADE CITY: OVERVIEW Welcome to Wade City, the Crown Jewel and capital of the Archipelago. Wade City has long been a hub for trade, culture and politics throughout the region. You can see Wade City in full context of The Archipelago in the map bellow. Wade city is divided into two basic regions: the islands to the southwest and northwest quadrant which sits on Crescent Island. With a population of over 750,000, you can find many rich and lively neighborhoods throughout the Wade City. With so many exciting neighborhoods to explore, it's difficult to know where to start, so we're going start with an over view for this journal to give everyone a sneak peak of what's to come. Thanks for reading and don't forget to follow my journal to keep up with future entries. Also, don't forget to like this post!!!
  4. Wade City: Overview

Thanks Tom! I spent a lot of time collecting and placing a the towers the work in this city, so I'm glad you appreciate it!! Thanks 20Hyskies! Yeah I was trying to mix a hyper dense metropolitan city that coexist with a lively aquatic ecosystem. It's a bit utopian and I'm not sure if it will ever be possible, but it's fun to imagine! Thanks Mitsos! It took me a while to finally post this, but I'm excited to hear everyone's reactions! In the next few entries, I'll show everyone this city in a little more detail.
  5. Show us your Overview of your City/Town

Oh that was all in Photoshop and Illustrator and I exported some transit maps and traced over them. I have an explanation of how I did it in this forum here if you're interested. Also, a lot of other great ideas on how to make your own custom maps.

  11. Show us your Universities, Colleges and Campuses

Haha yes! Thanks for the kind words and I suspect the school would have high cost for replacing balls that end up in in the water. The stadium placements were inspired by San Francisco Giant's AT&T Park which is a really cool stadium I'd love to visit sometime. I thought it'd be cool to base a college campus off this concept with the stadiums by the coast. Also, I think you forgot the rowing and sailing teams
  12. Blue Islands Recap

BLUE ISLANDS RECAP So before moving on to the next project in Wade City Archipelago, I wanted to do a journal entry to recap of the 6 cities explored in this series: Morningside Beach, Bellemont, Turtle Island, Palm Island, Laguna Beach and Blue Island City. Below, you can find a full region map the various cities in this sub-region of the Blue Islands and its relation to the Rest of The Archipelago MORNINGSIDE BEACH BELLEMONT TURTLE ISLAND PALM ISLAND LAGUNA SHORES BLUE ISLAND CITY WADE CITY PREVIEW And finally, I wanted to give a preview of the next project, a revamp of my first city and the name of this City Journal: Wade City. Wade City is a tropical canal metropolis that is integrated into several closely packed islands. You can see in the photo some of the main concepts including an old canal port and transit structure which has been more or less converted into a boardwalk and park system. You can also see coral reefs and aquatic life in the canals and bay, integrating the natural with the hyper urban. This more utopian and idealistic than realistic, but it does make for a fun and beautiful city. I can't wait to show everyone in the next journal! Don't forget to like the entry and follow my journal! Thanks for reading!!
  13. Show us your Parks!

@Ssaidd Thanks for the complement! Check out the link in my signature "Blue Islands Recap" to see the full series. It's several cities and several islands that all tie together. There's like three or four Journal entries of Blue Island City which is what you see in the image. Leave a comment on my Journal Entries and let me know what you think!!
  14. Blue Islands Recap

Thanks @RobertLM78!! I'm glad you liked it. Thanks @mattb325!! I put a lot of thought into how people might live and play in these places, so I'm glad that comes across Thanks @mitsos I'm super excited for the next chapter of this journal as I think it might be my best yet...

This entry provides a single image from each of the 6 cities and organized links to all the journal entries. Also, I included an image from my next big project: Wade City. A revamp of my first journal entry, Wade City is a tropical, canal metropolis that is integrated into several closely packed islands. You can see in the photo some of the main concepts including old canal port and transit structure which has been more or less converted into a boardwalk and park system. You can also see coral reefs and aquatic life in the canals and bay, integrating the natural with the hyper urban. This more utopian and idealistic than realistic, but it does make for a fun and beautiful city. I can't wait to show everyone in the next journal!
