Hadn't thought about that.. but yeah, that would absolutely look better. I like to imagine that curvy bit makes sim train conductors' day.

The building is the Marriot by Simgoober but looks like the lot has been modded to add the pools. You could always try something from the public pool pack

I love a good rural-small town. Here's Mackavie, just finished some downtown details, but still need to relot a few things to match the new NAM rail textures.

I've been looking for residential/personal piers, docks, and small boats/yachts. I've found the NBVC piers, but not much else. Something like :

Thanks Z1, I'll give that a shot when I get the time to fiddle around with this again! -
Modifying Road over Road/Rail/etc textures?
arost replied to arost's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
Thanks Willy, I think I understand. The texture I'm referring to is the standard maxis white sidewalk texture that automatically happens when I place an x-over road viaduct. So.. how would I go about finding the IID? Is this something I use ilive reader for, or some other tool? Is there a tutorial for this, or am I better off just trial and error-ing until I either succeed or cry? -
I've been recently getting into modifying minor things in various lots to make my cities more cohesive. I'm starting to get the hang of BAT now, but I'm wondering if it's possible to change the standard white-ish texture that appears around the lower road when I have a road or rail viaduct crossing over it. I currently am using custom sidewalk textures, so that white block really stands out. The blue arrow points to the white square I'm griping about : I checked the Network Addon Mod folder to find the right model, but it appears the viaduct files are all .dat - Can I still use these to modify or am I SOL?

Infamousjbe - I really like the style of your industrial areas, it looks busy, like people are actually industrialling stuff like crazy. This is my first post.. but that's ok, because industrial areas are my favorite thing in SC4. These are all from the same town, but not really in any particular order
