Before I apply this update I need to know if there is anything I should do. I was reading that for the NAM to properly work I should have the 638 version. I have been playing with version 1.1.610.0 for the longest time and the NAM seemed to be working just fine. What exactly would this update do for me? Also, I have the CAM installed. Do I have to re-install the game before I apply the update and then re-install the CAM?

Just checking you remembered to re-merge your Cam with the 'new' SimCity_1.dat. Oh yes, you can bet I would be experiencing major issues if I didn't.

I went ahead and backed up all my SimCity files including the .dat files because I had merged the CAM with SimCity_1.dat. I then replaced the original .dat file before applying the update. The update went through with no problems. Then I re-installed the CAM. Played about an hour in my region and didn't notice any problems or any changes for that matter. As far as update 640 goes I don't play with the day/night cycle so that isn't necessary.

No doubt its a nice place to live. There are so many areas I'm interested to see develop. I noticed you briefly made an update showing the west part of Detroit. Have you started to develop the Brightmoor neighborhood? And I'm also interested to see how the office complexes visible from the Lodge in Southfield turn out. Anyway good luck and I look forward to the next update!

That's my home town! So yeah I'm definitely gonna work hard on it. Excellent! What part of FH? I'm from 13 and Farmington. I lived in two neighborhoods actually, a town house complex right next to the beautiful I-275, I-696, M-5, and I-96 interchange.... or you could say near Halsted and 11 Mile. The second one was near Middlebelt and 9 Mile. I kind of had a feeling that I would be in familiar territory for many simtropolians, including me. :D Cool, I've golfed quite a few times at the public course near 11 and Halsted. It sounds like you are no longer living in Farmington Hills?
