  2. Trying to install NAM 36 on Win10, on SC4 deluxe downloaded from Gog. When trying to install NAM 36, I get these 2 error messages: "...controller compiler failed to build a network compiler...usual reason: Java not installed." I do have Java 8, installed and updated and functioning. NAM exe concludes the attempted installation with: "Error in opening file for writing, TSCT_setup.exe." My mistake: prior to this download failure, I had deleted the NAM and Z folders from plug ins. Should I pony up and repurchase SC4, or is there a better way? Thanks.

    The community is wise. Reinstalling Java 8's 32 bit version might be a thing. Did try installing a fresh copy of the NAM, but achieved same zilchness. The NAM 37 sounds very encouraging; will be on the lookout. Yes, buttons are fun, but the lesson here is: it depends on the buttons.

    "Mental Health Services," or "Behavioral Health Clinic" would be more appropriate. "Insane" might still be used as a legal term in some jurisdictions, but no clinic with actual M.D.'s and Psych R.N.'s would describe itself as for the insane. That's been true for many years. Decades, even. Otherwise, very nice building.
  7. Twice in the last few months I've had a gog.com SC4 deluxe mysteriously get deleted. Other related files and apps, e.q. NAM, building plug-ins, etc., remain. Probably a longshot question: Are there any issues with Avast, Advanced System Care 12, or any Iobit application? Can they mistake the SC4 exe for something bad? Just wondering. (Maybe I should avoid gog.com.) thanks, Danger
  8. Yup, there's ignore features and exclusion stuff. You can guess that I never imagined I would need them for something so large and obvious. But then there is so much competition for our security app dollars that overagressiveness was probably inevitable. Thanks, CM.

    It seems like a minor thing, but if you're going to have trash removal, the trucks have to be weathered and distressed. You just hope you don't get stuck behind it in gridlock.
  10. Recently downloaded and installed NAM36. The canal building squares are not present under any menu option. I checked the canal option during installation. It didn't install Goober's. I chose the other creator on a reinstall, but that didn't install either. Everything else is fine. Am I supposed to download a separate add-on mod for canals?
