    Quite an interesting discussion here. I thought I might show you some pictures from my MD Andau sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php. This is not so much about making a medieval simcity as it is about developing a city through history. These images are taken from the time just after the Roman conquest of Gallia and shows my interpretation of this period translated into Simcity4. Here is an overview of the town Some images with a little more detail

    What a coincidence that you have just started up Casanares again, and I am looking at CJ's here for the first time in a year or so. I can only say it is looking fantastic, especially with your layout and colorful images.

    These are interesting BATs, but your texturing could use some improvement. I would suggest to open a thread in the batting sections either here or at SC4Devotion to get some more feedback before you upload.

    Another small comment, on one side the roof texture is placed the wrong way, but I like your dormers. Take some time to refine your bat and it can be a very nice building.

    If you are going further with this theme, maybe consider making them w2w, and take a closer look at your scaling. This buildings seems rather small. Simcity scale is different than real scale. Still a very nice bat for your first upload.

    Like the bat, and I think for a modern additon to an old city street (gracht) it is quite a nice building.

    This is a very nice bat, I think your roof windows look ok. Like Krio said the texture for the balcony and stairs on the back does seem a bit flat, and I would also try to make a bit more contrast in the wall texture so the boards will be better visiable. I would really love to have some of these wooden buildings, great work.
