Hmm I've never heard of YUI before.. I'll look her up I may be wrong but I think it can't be bigger than 800x600

If the person at least knows another song prior to Gangnam Style or from another artist I will accept that but if not then I wouldn't call that person a true Kpop fan (my opinion). Wait, so they sing and perform with samurai costumes? I believe it is Ayumi Hamasaki I've listened to Shoko Nakagawa who does a Pokemon show and made some anime openings (I think?) and Tohoshinki, before I found out they were the Kpop band that is TVXQ and then it was bye bye Jpop XD

Your favorite building ever built!
__A replied to citiesxlfan42's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
Well it really depends which way you look at it, but from many angles the backdrop will be a skyscraper jungle -
If you see his very first post there is a list of his projects that are already completed or hopefully in the future, which includes SoCross Station. On that note, there's an office building under construction on the flat roofed section towards the Docklands side.

If you could change a real life city you live in with SimCity, what would you change?
__A replied to Xyloxadoria's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
Demolishing inner city freeways and make them end at a complete M80 ring road following London's style would be cool -
Melbourne's Roundabout of Death. Tram tracks crossing through a roundabout with traffic lights!

Your favorite building ever built!
__A replied to citiesxlfan42's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
I don't know what building is my "favourite" but this is in my list. RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) Building 80 or also known as Swanston Academic Building designed by Lyons is one of the campus buildings just north of the Melbourne CBD Grid. The cut out bits are called "portals" where students can study or take a break, unlike many universities, this building connects with the outside and lets in natural light as well as giving total public access. It sure does stand out in Marina Bay ATM, but in the coming future it'll be a totally different skyline with a vast skyscraper jungle in the new Marina South area... Enjoy the view while you can -
On the topic of PSY, I hope nobody comes to this thread and says "Oh I like Kpop, Oppa Gangnam Style!" I've listened to some of SCANDAL's songs on PopAsia and they're pretty good I have to say

Best and worst airport you've been in
__A replied to Sleeping Politician's topic in General Off-Topic
Really? I think its pretty easy to navigate although I wouldn't use the AirportLink for transfer between terminals since you have to pay $5, I believe there's a free shuttle but I've only had to transfer once and that was with Qantas which allows you to transfer straight outside the gate. I look forward to arriving at Canberra Airport then, if I decide to go there by plane -
Have you ever visited the capital city of your country?
__A replied to Alejandro24's topic in General Off-Topic
I've apparently been to Canberra when I was still a baby but I don't remember anything at all so I suppose its a yes and no answer but I would love to go there someday, maybe when its not so dead anymore I have however visited the state capitals, Sydney (NSW), Brisbane (Qld) and the city I live in now Melbourne (Vic). Capitals outside of Australia which I've been to are Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Singapore, Jakarta (Indonesia), Noumea (New Caledonia) and Port Vila (Vanuatu). -
Best and worst airport you've been in
__A replied to Sleeping Politician's topic in General Off-Topic
Best airport I've been to (and often) would be Singapore's Changi Airport, it feels very spacey and the processing for everything like customs, immigration and baggage claim is very quick. Worst airport in terms of design and the terminal itself would be Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport, although they now have a new terminal operational. It feels very compact and bit sticky due to lack of air conditioning in some areas... In terms of the process like security, most US airports because of TSA. I have to take of my shoes, watch, jacket and I can't even hold my passport through the whatever thing its called. -
Oh no, that's totally fine, I love ballads too, I try to sing a long and it makes me sad even though I don't understand the meaning haha! Missing You by 2NE1 is sort of a ballad and Eyes, Nose, Lips by Taeyang is quite a hit ATM but I don't know much ballads apart from Davichi

Aah yes they have a slot on Fridays now after the live show on PopAsia. I don't listen to PopAsia as much as I did before and there's so many changes now... Regarding J-Pop, I just became absorbed in K-Pop and stopped listening to J-Pop, but without J-Pop I wouldn't have found K-Pop. I've never listened to much C-Pop but I do like G.E.M. (she just performed a few days ago in Melbourne). Do you have a favourite Davichi song? I would say 8282 is my favourite though its rather old, I like the mix of the ballad and rather upbeatness (not a word is it? )

Yet another one, awesome :3 I believe they retrofitted the base since it is much more modern than the rest of the tower. At least that's what it looks like on street level XD

Oh my its about time! My bias is KARA and my ultimate bias in KARA is Han Seungyeon. They're making their comeback as a 4 member group since the departure of Nicole and Jiyoung as well as the new addition Youngji (same bday as me! OMG). Here's the tracklist teaser for their album "Day&Night" (track 2: Mammamia will be the title track) I've recently started really liking 2NE1 (might consider myself a Blackjack ), Infinite and VIXX. Favourite songs ATM (not entirely the latest) are Red Light by f(x), Red by Hyuna, Good Luck by BEAST or Batoost , R.O.D. by G-Dragon featuring Lydia Paek, Eternity by VIXX and Happiness by Red Velvet is growing on me very fast but I still gotta learn their names... I'm trying to find K-Indie songs too such as Neon Bunny which I love! According to Minho, SHINee won't be coming back this year but Taemin will be making is solo debut and 2PM is supposed to comeback in September. Also, does anyone watch the Youtube channel Eatyourkimchi?
