[:0][:0][:0][:0][:0] Holy Jezzus, it's Coruscant. Where did you get that 2-mile tall building? Is it in the STEX? After being gone so long, I was wondering what could be next, and now you have my attention.

Hello People of ST. I am going to try to bring this city journal back. I was not as successful with BATting, so this will be my main focus after classes end. I hope I still have it saved. Prepare for the return of Lithium County!

Hello, Superchad. This is Riffsyphon1024. I have returned. I am a former member of Simtropolis and a newfound member of Wikipedia. I am onto what you have been doing there, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me at either this website or much easier my user page at Wikipedia. I must state that if you post a link for the sole opportunity to get members, it is classified as spam. If however, your intentions are to provide the public with a resource that has much more info on the subject in question, then it is valid to post a link to that site, and also as a source of information. -- User:Riffsyphon1024

This updated version show the deletion of the bottom balconies, which were unnecessary since they were on the ground floor.

Here's an apartment building I created. Not the futuristic type. My BATTing could cover all grounds.

Date: 8/30/2004 12:14:11 AM Author: ardecila No; what I meant when I said they couldn't change altitudes is the buildings' entrance heights. Unless the buildings are all BATted with entrances on relatively the same level, it'll look kind of weird.quote> Ok, I understand now, you meant just one level of traffic that could commute to the buildings. But somehow there must be a way to create skyways above that level that act as highways and don't have to commute with any of the buildings. A bypass above commuter traffic? Oh, this is getting confusing now...
-
Ardecila: about altitudes, I was thinking if there could be one set of vehicles at one altitude and another set above them and so on. The vehicles don't have to change altitudes. Think lanes of traffic.

exgamer07: It's not a dig mod but a hole digger downloadable from the STEX. Merkinball: Yes, I was thinking the same thing. Lithium is an antidepressant and someone asked if this was a tribute to Kurt Cobain. Unfortunately it's not a tribute to him, and I would have run out of names early on. I merely used Lithium as a starting element for the entire county. It's near the top of the periodic table but sounds better than Hydrogen County. Plus the main city is named Lithium City. I just think Lithium was the best elemental name for the county and city. The other elements show up in various cities, towns, suburbs, and industrial areas. I have almost used all of them in one way or another. Also names of scientists, chemicals, and other facets of science show up in the names of things.

I'm finding that Aegon is too much for my computer, I can't even preview it now with all the windows on it. And the windows are separate entities, there's hundreds of them. As for the dome, this is what it looks like. I've yet to start on that. Here's some pics of the most recent work on it. Now the Futuristic City thread in City-Building Concepts has given me some ideas and especially thanks to dudyconstructor for the idea of a Jetson Building. Check the thread for his first version. I'm not sure if there is enough interest in Jetson type buildings but they would be unique enough for anyone willing to try something different. With this I am pushing for a mod that would make cars fly, at various altitudes. But I would not recommend this for people who want a normal game. This may not even be possible and if it did it may not work correctly, I just don't know what is entirely possible. I will now post some of my concepts for Jetson Type Buildings. We'll call them JTB's for short. Hope these are appreciated, and maybe there is enough support to get these BATTed. As for Aegon, I will see if the windows can just be textures instead of all the separate polygons.

A closeup on the Cobb Village Harbor in Vanadium Port. Also a quick edit on the entrance to the Gravity Island Car/Passenger Ferry Terminal. The avenues were redesigned to force more people into the terminal. Also a bridge from Meitner Peninsula to Gravity Island was built, but it is only a two laner.
