I'm really not sure how this works ... Glass Box is supposed to require a full economic loop, meaning commercial cannot exist without the freight from industrial. I am keen to try this in the final game, my expectation is that the commercial areas in a no industry region/city will not generate much tax income and will be constantly going out of business. I did notice, commercial buldings would still develop and improve in density in my time with the beta even if they had no employees or even power. It's entirely possible that your commercial buildings were constantly going out of business due to lack of freight and you didn't notice it. I pay attention to all the buildings in my city and there wasn't any, the only reason why they went out of business in my city was because of not enough customers and not due to "lack of industry".

Guessing that either one of those people actually tried to make a city without industry, if arguments were true, then commercial wouldn't develop in Simcity 2013, but since the development is based on demand, you don't need industry, you see, your complaining to me because I didn't run the city long enough, but having a city of at least 16,000 or so on both I'd say the products would leave the shelves in around 2 months - 4 months and getting high wealth isn't hard, I'd say you can run a city without industry and besides regardless of how low the demand was the shops still stayed and developed into medium density and wanted to go high density.

Well, when you get more high wealth than low wealth you make more profits, I spend 8,000 simoleons per hour in parks and yet I make a lot more in return, once you start adding parks, you'll lose a lot, but only because a lot of re construction is going on, after the construction you'll be making as much as all the low wealth you had, but you'll only have 1/4 the population compared to a low wealth city, but if you don't add parks in the beginning than it's hard to make a profit, I've had a city with with over 20,000 in expenses and only a population of 16,000 I believe and I still made a profit, but might also be because they lowered their taxes.

It takes me 5 minutes to make a profitable city in SC4... in hard. Where's the challenge in that too? Do you have the mod where hard mode has you start off with zero money and you need to take out a loan? Why install a mod, compare both without mods on SC4 and you get a fair comparison.

Actually I disconnected from their servers a few times while playing and I could still play it, so actually you don't always have to have a connection to continue to play, it's only meant to keep the region economy up to date and leader boards up to date and disconnecting will just keep it from updating till you reconnect.

Actually I made a 2 cities before I stopped playing the beta without industrial and both cities developed pretty well, so actually you don't need to make industrial in order to make a city in Simcity 2013.

I believe the director was different and she was probably horrible at building cities in the previous Simcity games and decided to use plopable building that have little needs to maintain and she thought it was fun because she could actually build a city for once, she has her silly explanation for saying why this game was good, so I have my explanations why this game was bad and besides when I first played it I thought the graphics looked cheesy.

I would say Simcity3000, I enjoy the sound track and I really don't care about the graphics because I've played the game for so much longer then any other game out there.

Together or me making my new lets play for SC2013?

I really don't care about city size, I enjoy a smaller city size, just more fun to me I guess and besides, I really don't mind the lack of buildings or graphics since it reminds me of SC3K a little. I play SC4D without mods again because it's a great reminder of what it's like without the mods and much more challenging. As far as being online goes, it would probably not be a problem since EA has a lot of money to run the server regardless of how many people leave the game. I know that I'm going to get despised for this comment, but I always remember that phrase from some of the SC players saying "I don't really mind the dated graphics" then saying stuff about the new SC graphics and complaining about it. I understand that this comment isn't going to be popular upon many, but I really don't care.

It'll probably be about the same time as Japan's release date.

I would do it only because things are more fun with others lol, but then nah, I want to make my own lets play and upload on my channel because some people want me to re continue my lets play from when I stopped uploading videos I was surprised that people wanted me to continue to make lets play videos.
