    Here's my take on a cloverleaf, this one is basic, but slightly different from the original design. I think I'll save my five way that I finished just now for tomorrow.

    So I decided I would go with a little bit more simple and make a y-interchange, originally was trying to remake the one from NAM on simcity 4 and couldn't quite get it to work, so I made this one instead.

    That's an incredible interchange ! Looks like quite the snug fit too. How long did it take you to make that? 6-8 hours I think, most of the time was spent trying to find ways to connect all 6 directions together.

    Almost a year since your last post and just to let you know, I'll still be waiting for the next big update so that I can give some more feedback, but in the mean time I'll be waiting here and even though it's been a very long time since the first release, I do still have very good hopes in this game.

    Best is either sc3k or sc4, but for the most honesty, sc2013 isn't as bad as societies, only reason why it's worse on this poll is cause it's newer and didn't hit people's expectations spot on, it fell below, but it's still much more fun than societies. Societies is a ploping game, no watching the city grow over time or anything unless you consider plopping more buildings growing, but lets be honest here, societies shouldn't be any where but last, even if sc2013 doesn't hit your expectations because if any of you remember the expectations for how well we were expecting societies to be, you would know for sure that sc2013 doesn't even come close to how bad those expectations were. I am certain that if societies came out after sc2013, you people would be saying societies is the worst game.

I think the problem isn't that the game is online or offline if given the choice in a game, it's the fact that EA can't make a game that's good with multiplayer capabilities that isn't an fps anymore. Actually, I don't think they've ever made a multiplayer game outside the fps genre that's good other than the older need for speed's cause I remember them releasing a sims online for sims 1 which failed.

    That looks like an impressive city. Regarding the crashing, can you send the city save file along with any information on what you were doing when it crashed to support@synekism.com so I can attempt a fix? I'm assuming that's the latest version? It's not the latest, I just didn't see enough stuff fixed to really upgrade the version, but I can upgrade and see if it still does it. I'm sure you're aware of this, but sometimes when zoning, there will sometimes be a zone that takes the whole city block and not develop because of how large it is.

    Made a new city, not super impressive, but it's something I guess, especially with the game crashing a few times. I think most of the time was spent of rezoning zones since it took a lot of time to dezone.

    Use boats, region bus, airport, and rails if you have them. Try and avoid intersections near the highway and use avenues so your intersections have traffic lights. I too am fighting this issue. that's the result of your wrong street layout... the game isn't as easy as many people think Not necessarily, the main reason is because I have a lot of residential and commercial and people from other cities come to shop and my city has a lot of workers that go to other cities to work and come back and it ends up with heavy traffic on the highway and the intersection and even if I reduced the amount of intersections that wouldn't change how many cars will come into my city and get stuck in traffic unless I made no intersections in my city and I did in fact build a rail station and bus stops and that didn't change a thing.

    You should see the traffic to my city the highway that enters it has traffic that backs up 2 km and no one can get into my city till 6 hours then the traffic clears, I think it would be useful to have some way of fixing that.

    You can't really reroute out of traffic when you're in the middle of traffic until the traffic moves to the next intersection and besides I rather think the traffic is to low anyways.

    Unfortunately I can tell you right now that most schools won't even allow this game in schools because it's a game, which in my opinion is a missed opportunity as always.

    Sandbox mode is probably going to basically let you do anything you want per say and give you unlimited cash like stated above and you'll not be able to have your city on the leader board but you can do anything you want, the only problem is that it might get boring due to it not having any challenge to it, but if you have long term fun when cheating, or sandboxing, but what ever you want to do, then do it.

    If you're trying to open the city, then you can double click on the file and SC3kU will open the city (or SC3k) and then you can save it to your city folder in game.
