Is it okay to constantly leave my Simcity 4 CD in the drive(I have one of those vertical drives) or will this damage it eventually?

Because it got mirrored when he took a picture of it using his webcam. -
@ NTM: That seaport is a huge improvement over the latest one. However, I have 2 suggestions for you. 1, get a water mod, like PEG's Brigantine. It doesn't look good to see those dark spots under the ships. 2, eliminate those grade crossings at the rail yard. Since it is a rail yard, there would probably be trains parked there which would block road traffic. Overall, good job!

Farmland and suburban area.
quicksilver991 commented on Pennyguy101's City Journal Entry in Abington County
I like the fact that you are using RHW. However, you should fix that area where the RHW-2 intersects the main highway. Instead of just having a T-junction with those mismatched textures, use the MIS to make some kind of interchange. Very good start! -
@EyeofMobius For the streets, I am just using the SAM gravel roads, so I didn't have to add a mod at all. For the rail, I used the PEG mod that reduces the amount of dirt. (I looked and can't find it, so you might want to post in the "Can't Find it Thread" if you want it).

Very nice! Your interchange making skills with the RHW have improved exponentially since the CJ started! -
Looks very nice, I especially like the downtown area! However, I would suggest getting both a terrain and a water mod.

What frustrates you about sim city 4
quicksilver991 replied to Pasta-power's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
There is a mod called "Go Away Wren" or something along those lines which will do just that. A much safer alternative to messing with the .dat files and much easier than not zoning 2x2. -
Some farmland near a small river.

That is an incredible navy/airforce base, Stratovarius! I myself am working on a huge ( entire medium tile ) navy base. May I ask where you got that checkpoint in the first picture?

while I am not a teacher, one bit of advice I have is to move all those wind turbines somewhere else and space them out. It is not normal to find them in that close proximity to the city and to each other. I have some photos here if people would like to give me some pointers.

Very nice detail in your city! I would suggest not using the Maxis landmarks, instead download something else. -
A rail siding near an industrial complex. A small town rail station.

Most (if not all) servers will kick you out if you use hacks (like adding extra items into your inventory. Some servers will kick you out if you grief, or destroy other people's houses and/or kill them.

Very nice arrangement of those buildings into the circular compound. It seems to keep out all the poor people in the city. -
How do you get the picture to be at that angle?
