commercial likes to have a lot of traffic, low polluyion low garbage and parks and rec. the dates in the cities do not affect gameplay at all

yeah, i usually am the same way, but now with starting my CJ, i am following a plan to make sure everything looks good

my largest region is the default " new york". it currently has a population of about 6.5 million, with the largest city having one million people

L=1,000,000 M=450,000 haven't developed any small cities yet

that's really a shame. this was a promising CJ and you did such a good job!

if you have a city with only industry, you will make tons of money. this is becuase the only things you will spend money on are fire stations and maybe a seaport or two. in return, once you have a lot of industry, you will make tens of thousands of dollars each turn. in regards to sharing money between cities, i remember coming across a "suburban bank branch" which, if i am correct, literally lets you take money from an adjacent city. have you downloaded willsim's long train mod? i know from personal experience that this causes the automata to go crazy

that is a good point Nuclear550. would simcity 5 really be better than simcity 4 plus all the thousands of files people have made? i think not.

hello. i left simcity 4 open in an existing city of about 380,000, and my computer went to sleep. when i came back and woke it up, the city was zoomed out (as if it were loading) and flashed between satelite view and transport map. when i exited to region, the tile (a large) was gone. and that's not all. the region population was unchanged and in the Documents/Simcity4/Regions/New York folder, the corresponding .SC4 file was still there. i have two questions 1. why did this happen? 2. is there any way i can get this city to appear again? i am running windows vista 32 bit with 2 gb of ram, 300gb hard drive, and a radeon pro 2400 video card. any replies are appreciated the00guvna EDIT: okay, i have figured out that the config.bmp has been corrupted. is there some way i can get a "fresh" copy of this file for new york region?

yes CaptCity i believe that is correct. i suppose i shall have to delete it

i imported that city into another region( well i tried at least) as soon as i did that the tile where it imported it disappeared, but the region population jumped from zero to 387,000 ( the pop. of the city in question)

well i put in the fresh one and renamed the old one and the city tile is still not appearing in game

yes, i found this file in that general directory. do i need to remove the corrupted version from Simcity 4/ Regions/ New York?
