Yes! This was fixed, I think another plugin installed it's GLR plugins into the NAM folder, stupid automatic installers.. -
Saving Location...Cities do not show up in Region view...
Cahzan replied to gspang4207's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
Mine do this, A fix for me was loading individual cities and "Saving and Exiting to Region", it will create a regional screenshot and appear normal. I haven't found another solution.. I think it's an OS problem. -
I think in simple yes mods/plugins do cause lag. I've been working with a problem with my menu and nam and come to realize the reason my game's been lagging more and more is because of specific plugins... I just have to figure out which ones they are. I honestly think I have a VISTA issue with the crashing and stuff, I have a 4gb RAM (I can't go any higher unfortunetly but 4gb should be plenty since I've played SC4 on 1gb before) and everything else is decent. As far as I can remember the game played better with XP..

FIXED!- NAM Bug - Menu is really messed up - Bug just started occuring
Cahzan posted a topic in NAM & Transit Networks
This started occuring yesterday, I've removed/tested all my plugins and it's definitely NAM. It seems to affect mainly categories/menus with a scrollbar specifically parks, landmarks, schools and misc transportation. I've updated NAM and NAM essentials. I looked on the forum, can't really find related posts. I've currently removed all plugins, because some others were causing lagging. Thanks for looking. -
These people are my top favorites, they don't have a buttload of dependencies so they are easy to install, properly named and look decent in the menus and the lots are excellent. Fast food, restaraunts, dennys/mcdonalds etc. https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?p=files&keyword=kevdan25&view=all School Packs, add some educational variety, amongst other downloads. https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?p=files&keyword=JBSimio&view=all MadHatter106's items are MUST HAVE, Lower wealth commercial lots that grow. There are so many and they don't really have any dependencies either. https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?p=files&keyword=madhatter106&view=all Simgoober also has a nice mix of real and fictional buildings, some of his lots have alot of dependencies though. https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?p=files&keyword=simgoober&view=all Cycledog's Tree Mod is wonderful too..

You really do have some of the best downloads on this site, The main thing that bothers me is the constant dependencies for many of the downloads here. If I want to download like a hotel for example I first need to download 20mb worth of dependencies just so the SIDEWALKS or some stupid crap works. I like yours because you have real descriptions, you don't have a list of dependencies and the lots are excellent. So thanks for making the game more interesting for me. I appreciate it!
