    sc4jeeks, i think it has windows, but they're hidden under the awning. I agree, the sign is thick and ugly, and the roof needs some props and a new texture. If you're doing a large, flat-roofed building like that one, it needs a good roof to be attractive.

  4. True... but i think we may need a little bit more to get a better idea of what we're trying to build. I'm ok with marsform, i get that area fine, but maybe we can work on the other ones a bit. I'll try my best to make one though! It definately helped give me inspiration. I'm glad i haven't started any of those yet. Anyway, if you don't want us to do those buildings, who will?
  5. These look simply FANTASTIC! I love all of the designs, and they will go so great with the theme of the game. Congratulations to Dearnen and EmmaB for some great sketches. I will be happy to take part in making some of these (I am part of the buildings team). I especially like the design for the second in the Slim and Glassy style, but I may attempt to model the third one in that group.

    I love it, it looks very nice, but it's just lacking some support beams. I know it wasn't made with BAT, but maybe someone could make them for you. I'm still giving it a 10 though, great invention!

    Hey, what would be really cool is if you could use those pedestrian travel tubes that are in Futurama to get places. That could be a mass transit option. If i remember correctly from the show, basically its a tube that goes over sidewalks, where a person could speak their destination and they get shot up into the tube, going at high speeds to their destination. Just a thought.

    Nice job for a first building. You should have the pathway in-between light up and have nightlights, have not all windows light up, and get the road to connect. Also, the triangle roof doesn't look like it's going over the back of the roof... [8]

    First of all, this looks more like an apartment building than a CS. Speaking of looks, it's a little ugly, the roof is plain and it looks choppy and unfinished. It looked too much like a box too until i found out there were supposed to be more next to it. [6]

    The building looks good, the lot is good, but there's too much roof. The roof texture even looks repetitive. You should either make it smaller, get a new roof texture, or slap more stuff onto the roof. [7]

    A small bread market. I only put up one picture because this is very basic, and what is shown there is basically all it is. It looks pretty cool. Enjoy! The download includes Bob's Bread Market and the Bob's Bread Market sign prop. UPDATE [Ver. 1.5] The .zip file now includes 2 new lots (upping the probability of it appearing in-game). I made the 2 extra ones primarily for personal preference choice, since one person wanted a grass lot instead of tiles. So, i made a lot that is the exact same as the original (in the picture) except with grass textures in the back instead of tile. The third one is an island village version, with palm trees as trees, different cars in the parking spaces (for variety) and a few added props. Enjoy! UPDATE [Ver. 1.55] Nothing much, i just added an extra picture so you can see the 2 new lot choices. Enjoy!

    Good but definately could be improved: scale it down, improve the roof (better textures), take out the garages, new door texture. Then it could be a good building.

    Anyone can see that you spent a lot of valuable time on this beautiful lot, and it REALLY paid off. It's AMAZING! It even tops Maxis' Major League Stadium! You are (and have been) Officially my favorite BATer of all time. Great job Oppie!
