    5499: I said I am sorry!
  2. The 10,000 Post thread V3

5494: But will a meth head? So I met up with Larks! Was interesting, my car decided to break down not 15 minutes in and we spent 5 hours waiting for roadside, but the next day was much better, showing him the sights and all.
  3. Hey, I have a problem with the lot contained in this link, I have placed the lot in my city and unfortunately I saved right before the crash, and now whenever I boot the city I get about half a second before a CTD occurs. Is there any way to fix it? I'm sure I have all the dependencies, and I have tried removing all my plugins from the plugins folder yet the crash still occurs. Is there a patch ? https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1246
  4. Election Day

Can I vote for Donald Trump instead?
  5. Show us What you're Working On

That small town community looks great! Highway bordering it looks pretty cool though.
  6. Show us your Region!

    Using the SPAM mod?
  7. Show us your Railroads!

@Ln X, can you tell me how you managed to impliment all those new features, or link to a guide?
  8. simtropolis 2014 Trixie Awards Ceremony

Ugh, Dirk wins every time. I'm beginning to think that category is rigged... But seriously, I know it sounds generic but there are some very deserving members, and many personal favourite CJs, BATs and the like made a show in the awards. I do love Trixie time, because it shows how our tight knit community is valued through recognition of their works, and especially those that go beyond the normal. However if you didn't win, there is no fear! Each member who participates in the community, whether they earned a Trixie or not is valued. It does not matter if you helped one member or fifty, if you posted a few images of your city or enough to make a series of coffee table books out of, the most important aspect is that you have made your mark on the community. I say this coming from myself, but I'm sure the other staff would agree. Speaking of, well done to my colleagues for the management they did this year. We are blessed with a forum that most of the time is a wonderful place where everything goes smoothly, but on the occasion things go a bit wry they are there to keep it all together. Cheers, ROFLyoshi

One more please! Here is Bob Hawke, former Prime Minister from 1983-1991 and world record holder of beer drinking (he finished a yard of ale in 11 seconds once) polishes one off at the tender age of 85 better than most kids these days. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5mBShX9fdU Speaking of drinking, I found the perfect wine today! Cause it describes my height

5340: These comments gave me cancer! Kidding. The other day, I drove to Ballarat (~45 min away) to buy a copy of Fallout 4. Then I realised that I need to download around 24GB of files, and I have no internet at home. Gah! I'll just download it when I visit family in Melbourne though this weekend.
  11. Paris Shootings: at least 132 people dead

http://www.vice.com/read/eagles-of-death-metal-discuss-paris-terror-attacks Rock band 'Eagles of Death Metal' discuss the shootings at their concert. Very surreal stuff.
  12. Show us What you're Working On

Looks really good! I'm trying to work on a mountainous city myself, I'd recommend lots of modular parking.
  13. Paris Shootings: at least 132 people dead

http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/tv/tv-shows/walked-aly-hits-out-at-isis-over-paris-attacks-calls-them-weak/news-story/e884afd6dd7781d6f7a105b321ca5d2d To me, a very powerful speech people should watch and realise. IMHO, Islam is not a peaceful religion. It is neither a violent one. It is the people who choose their own actions, not the religion. Some of the worst acts of humanity have been committed in the name of religion; that same religion often brings out unbelievable charity.
  14. Have you met your double?

My brother's double happens to be Mandelsoft.
  15. Post your picture here II

Pretty good, I've done it once before so I knew what to expect. It's still a bit surreal, especially when you have a very good chance of winning thousands of dollars. Alas, I WON NOT A BLOOMING PENNY. 10/10 though, good fun and would recommend to everyone.

So a while ago I was on a quiz show called The Chase, and they aired my episode last week! Brother sent me some funny screenshots of it which I'll share. But was I the woman or the thug?
  17. Show us your NWM

That first overview is fantastic! Loving the rural vibe from it!
  18. Show us What you're Working On

Be patient. Sometimes you won't get feedback for several days, and your post has only been up half a day. However, I do love the rock and MMP work on the shoreline! The seawalls are great and you've blended vanilla and custom well. I do have a few suggestions: Get the RRW mod. It will make your rails look fantastic. The IRM will also give you some custom filler lots for industrial areas, look into these two mods and it will make your already good port fantastic.
  19. Show us What you're Working On

Making reservoirs are incredibly satisfying. Looking forward to how it goes.
  20. Show us your City Transit Maps!

Still looks good though! Update, Day 2. This area pictured spreads approximately 10sq km.
  21. Show us your City Transit Maps!

Still a work in progress, but I decided to make a roadmap for my city. This is the start of it.
  22. Show us your Downtown!

Love the style so far (especially the parks you got back there), only thing I would recommend is a slope mod for that rail. If it's a pain to use, it means you're doing it right.

5244: Noumea, New Caledonia is mine. The other cities in the pacific are much nicer and despite what I was told, it's very hard to get around unless you speak French. Also I'm on Simtropolis less these days, my new house has poor mobile reception.
  24. Hey, I have encountered a problem, and have accidentally activated the landfill bug. I have run the simulation for ~50 years, and the last 2x2 clump of garbage has decays as per the game's logarithmic simulation. I however have still two "immortal" garbage lots, as pictured: There is zero trash going into the landfill, as I have Waste to Energy plants consuming all trash produced by the city. I also have cogeo's Landfill Eraser Mod installed (https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2252) Any solutions on how to clear the last piles of trash?
