I had high hopes for the new release but so far I really cannot form an opinion about the game itself since I cannot access any server. It has been three days now. My thoughts are that EA should had launched the game with the option to play "online", not a necessity.

The cds are worth it. It will take about 2 to 3 weeks to get them but it is worth the wait. You get more than you donate! One thing to keep in mind is that you must stay on top of dependencies requirements. I need to go back and download particular dependencies for some of the cd material. Also, you can only download off the cds one item at a time. This takes some time but its nice to have so many buildings, props, and other items stored on a disk for you. I ordered disk 2 and 3 and received them a week ago. I noticed that disk 4 is ready and I will be getting that one as well! Good luck!
