Show us your Downtown/CBD
Wrightguy0 replied to Thin White Duke's topic in Cities: Skylines Showcase
Since i couldn't run skylines as it was with all the mods without doing a massive RAM update, i decided to purge a few, basically i thought about what i wanted to do and decided upon getting rid of everything post 1960's and build an era city. So now I invite you all to take a trip back in time and visit the City of Freeport- 467 Replies

Additional Public Transit
Wrightguy0 replied to andreharv's topic in Cities: Skylines Modding - Open Discussion
I've been seeing so many custom network options popping up on the workshop lately, it's got me wondering, will we be seeing an Elevated Rail over avenue network like the in game monorail system?- 1,259 Replies

I have a soft spot for how this image turned out, note, aside from maybe a car or two, and the people, there are no vanilla assets in this shot.

The levels of Fanservice in this thread are off the charts, and i am 120% okay with this :3 I'm liking seeing all the commissions you've been getting for your characters

What i think of Moffat is this, the overall quality of his episodes has dropped, however i've noticed that he seems to be focussed on writing the show out of the massive plot holes that Russel T. Davies wrote the show into when he was the lead writer, Moffat still has it, Sherlock has proved he still has it, i just think his focus is elsewhere.

Forget Doha. It's not even going to be available in Japan or Korea. At least, not initially. What a slap in the face to two of the biggest gaming markets on the planet. Another one I don't get... It won't be available in Portugal but it will be available in Brazil. What? It's the same damned language! And I don't see any reason for this... I figured that they had already lost the asian market. this launch probably comes down to sales figures, with the first launch happening in countries where the 360 sold well

so the PS4 will not be region locked, which means our aussie friends can have the cheaper american versions of games shipped over and they'll work in your brisbane bought PS4, meanwhile the XBone is only launching XBL support in 21 countries world wide, meaning that if you're living in Doha and have an XBone shipped from europe, it still won't work because there's no XBL support, which is required for games to authenticate. MS seem to enjoy shooting this console in the back before it even gets out of the gate, don't they. I'm a little disappointed that KH III is no longer a Playstation exclusive, but i doubt it'll see strong sales on the XBone since that's not where the primary fanbase is located

The Rhetoric coming out of the North has been Brash and bold as of late, I guess this is what you should expect from a Military leader who's been thrust into the top job with out ever having actually lead a military. Kim Jong Un needs to consolidate his power and bring his generals to his side, How far he'll go to Prove himself to them is anybody's guess at this point. I also never understood why the north reacted to the joint US/SK drills with such bile, until i learned that the north had staged joint drills with china as a prelude to a full scale invasion, to their military leaders, who have never been trained to think outside the box (which will probably cost them a war if they start one) The US? South Korean drills look like an Invasion tactic because that's the only thing North Korea used joint exercises for, and once again NK's Military doesn't seem to be able to think beyond itself and it's own experiences.

It's sad when people steal from kids, be it electronically or physically, This event also reinforces some of the flaws that paid online services must combat, and why we must plug as many holes in the system as fast as possible as digital distribution becomes more and more popular around the world.

It's a nice building, but i don't find the windows pop out enough during the day, which is unfortunate as it makes this very nice building look like a solid grey tower. Now i know Jasoncw runs some threads with batting tips and advice that I think you would benefit greatly from. You have great potential and I want to see you improve with each BAT, and Simtropolis has the resources to help you. Yes i am looking forward to seeing more from you, keep trudging forward and never give up

Where did you get the tan building in the middle of this picture? D: it looks awesome

my parents went to see war horse and said it was incredible, so much so that they booked tickets to see the original west end stage production when they go to london in april, appearantly there were only nine seats left in the theater when they booked, plus my dad said it made him cry.....he never cries during movies, so it obviously tugged the right heart strings with a lot of people. Hugo was an absolutely beautiful film, and i loved it because it was essentially one of the world's biggest film geeks paying homage to early cinema, my parents were surprised to learn, from me, that the movie was based around the life of a real person, Gorges Melies as Scorsese had deftly woven fact and fiction with incredible, almost fantasy like art direction. the list seems to be a little, obsessed with several movies, and it takes a few categories before you start to see any deviation from any of the nominees for best picture though i will say they have some very strong contenders this year.
