  1. new laptop to run sc4. help me

    I have a Toshiba Satellite A505 running Windows 7. Intel Core2 Duo T6600 @ 2.20Ghz CPU 4.00GB RAM 454GB Hard Disk Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family Graphics 128MB dedicated graphics memory, 1759MB Total graphics memory ....My big question here is, Will this lack of a series graphics card hinder the performance of SC4? I used to play on my desktop but stopped a couple years ago. I want to get back into it but am not sure if this new laptop will handle it. What do you think? Thanks.

    I have been away from the game for some 6-8 months during which time I lost everything I ever downloaded for the game, all the mods, lots, BATS, maps, etc etc. I have been forced to start over completely, which I am not happy about but am finding it refreshing. However, I was working with the Simoleon RH mod before I lost everything and was forced to take a hiatus. And now that I am back, I cant seem to find the mod on the STEX. I have found most of the other things that I immediately looked to download but not this mod. Does anybody know if it has been removed? Or who created it so maybe i can search through their name. I tried Tropod and Raphaelninja but nothing there. Looking to get back to building...I appreciate it. Thanks.

    i really like this... i do agree the roof could use a little work...but overall it looks great! My only question is...what is it and where can it be found? is it just a landmark or is it Res? Curious...would like to know how to use it.

    I dont think any more roof junk is needed. There is a huge mechanical room on the top already where most of the stuff would be stationed anyway. Nice job, thanks.

    Too plain and there are lots like this, with much more creativity behind them already on ST. And they were done by someone who put a lot of effort into making our waterfronts and seasides looks beautiful.

    I really like this building because of it's realism, and because I'd love to see it growing in my cities...but I have to agree with they others. WAY too many residents. Scribblette had the right idea...something like 2000 instead of 8. I really do like it though.

    The dome is great, the windows are spectacular, the nightlighting is really nice and I love the site of the front entrance and it's blue awning. GREAT JOB!!!

    For all of you who are giving morhavoc a hard time, dont download the lot. It is the building and lot that you should be worried about. Not his reason for making it. If you dont like it for any reason, dont download. Some of your really are obnoxious. Nice lot and good job with the mural.

    This is one of the BEST overall buildings ever uploaded onto the Xchange. I give you serious props for making such an amazing building. I work for an elevator company so if you need to set up a maintenance contract on those exquisite elevators, let me know;)P

    I like the plainness of these lots. But I agree they should be R$ instead. They are more like ghetto buildings than middle income homes. I like them though...and I like the diagonal ones, especially when there will be more of them together.

    As long as these buidlings have jobs, and arent just landmarks, then there shouldnt be a problem with them not being growable. PUt them in yourself. VERY nice job Joerg.
