  1. First and foremost, I would just like to state that this is the best gaming community that I have ever had the pleasure of participating in. It has been incredible seeing people from all over the world continue to make this game one of the best released all time. At some point in the near future I am planning to migrate from playing on my laptop to my new gaming PC. The one thing that has stopped me from doing this already is ensuring that I know how to download the digital copy so that it is compatible with the NAM as that is the sole reason I continue to play all these years later. Does anyone know of a comprehensive instruction guide to downloading a digital copy to ensure that I will be able to still use the NAM and all of the future mods? If so, I would greatly appreciate a link to that so that I can begin the transition process.
  2. #20yearsSC4 Challenge - Full Modded

This image would not have been possible without the NAM team along with everyone who has helped make SimCity 4 into the legendary game that it still is today. The South Shore Business District sits on land that used to house the regions industrial base. The development of a newer and more spacious industrial district southeast of Lake Eagan City led to the abandonment of this former industrial district. This led to the decision by the local council to redevelop the entire area. The project had two objectives: 1. To improve the existing infrastructure by expanding the grid in Central Lake Eagan City and create additional ways for commuters to enter into the expanded Downtown area and 2. To expand the amount of real estate made available for both dense commercial and residential development. The South Shore Business District now Southern Gateway into the densest region of the Lake Eagan City MSA, which sits as the 6th largest metropolitan area in the Platte Republic.
  3. Show us your Downtown!

Downtown Drakesboro and the immediate surrounding neighborhoods. The city sits at the highest Altitude in all of the Platte Republic at a little over 7,900 feet and serves as a busy junction between nearby 3 medium sized metropolitan areas (500,000 - 1,000,000 MSA) the New Concord MSA (Pop: Approx. 3.5 Million). Metro Population: 215,452 and growing
  4. Show us Your Interchanges!

This Interchange between PR - 30 and PR - 27 is vital to the Platte City MSA and is known by the local commuters simply as the "Exchange".
  5. Show us Your Interchanges!

Though it may not look like it now, this interchange is currently the most utilized junction located in the Lake Eagan City MSA. The two lane ramp splits from S. 15th Ave. and connects the Lakeview neighborhood to PR-75 NB en route to Lake Eagan City's CBD. This configuration is necessary as over 6,000 sims use this particular on-ramp.
  6. Show us Your Interchanges!

This is the northernmost terminus of PR-75 located just to the south of Lake Eagan City's CBD.
  7. Show us Your Interchanges!

Just finishing up work on two suburban interchanges that are located in the Lake Eagan Metropolitan Area.
  8. Show us Your Interchanges!

A high capacity T-Interchange connecting the PV-9 (From Left), which serves West Drakesboro, to Central Drakesboro via the PR-20. Many thanks to all those who make such an interchange possible, the NAM is the single biggest reason why I still prefer SC4 over any other city building game. Bravo NAM team, may our interchanges become ever more complex!
  9. C88- Bank Pack

Great BAT, I agree with T Wrecks! This will be a nice building to use in smaller metropolitan cities!
  10. Show us your Downtown!

A view of the central business district of Cedar Bluffs at night, the city is both the Capitol and largest city in the Constitutional Republic of the Platte.
  11. Show us your Region!

New Concord has undergone some serious growth. It is currently sitting at around 1.7 million residents
  12. Show us your Downtown!

Thanks for the kind words! I am currently working on the Metro Area, which is largely still a WIP. However I can show you a region view of the Peninsula, which contains Downtown and many urban enclaves. I have alot of off time this weekend so I am looking at building a big swath of suburbs this weekend. Yes, it does get quite crowded on the peninsula haha. Maybe it reminds you because my city is lakeside, or its modern skyline? Thanks, the city of New Concord eagerly awaits your arrival
  13. Show us your Downtown!

May I present you with New Concord, my nation's Crown Jewel. It is home to well over 3 million, and Downtown features many glimmering skyscrapers. What do you all think?
  14. Show us Your Interchanges!

I would like to show you the evolution of an interchange in the city of New Concord. This interchange connects the city's northern suburbs (on the right side of the images) to both Downtown to the south and the Port and Industrial sectors to the West. PR-17 runs from the west to the north (from the top of the image to the right side of the image), while PR-117 merges with PR-17 as it comes from the south (from the left of the image to the right). Here is the first version of the interchange, but a need for another connection into the densely populated peninsula inspired a more efficient design. Here is the second design, which featured express lanes that provided another much needed entrance into the densely populated peninsula. However, I felt another redesign to create an even more efficient interchange would be necessary. Here is the current interchange, now with a total of 2 express lanes in each direction connecting New Concord's northern suburbs directly to Reifer Beach, the city's premier shopping and entertainment district. Eventually, I plan on expanding the SB ramp from PR-17 to PR-117 from one lane to two lanes.
