Yeah, I agree with Michaelshayne. What I always like to do is build out before you build up. Keep adjusting taxes & funding on schools, hospitals, etc. Make sure when you zone out commercial districts that you don't have more zoned than you do residential thus ending in abandonment because not enough sims live in your city. Build parks, plazas, landmarks, etc. I like to wait till my population hits at least 25,000-30,000 before zoning high density commercial/residential/industrial. Hope I was of help, and make sure you visit omnibus section like Michaelshayne said. Happy 4th of July everyone!

abandonment-can't figure out what causes it!

Well, it seems that your sims don't have any jobs. You have more residential zoned out than you do commercial thus causing the abandonment. You need to balance the two and zone some commercial districts to give the sims jobs. Hope I was of help, and that city of yours looks AMAZING! Nice suburb and keep up the good work. -

Originally posted by: HabLeUrG I don't like bigger cities, i think the best places to live is in a small city or town... less traffic, security, wealth, etc...quote> Yes, I agree with HabLeUrG. But to stretch your imagination it is good to visit the popular cities/buildings of the U.S/world. Which can further more provide a knowledge and understanding of architecture, city building concepts, education, etc.. Concluding that for myself big cities make me feel crouded, and have no personal space, but you can get use to those things.

Originally posted by: jazzmine54868 hi ! im looking for a park that gives money. I had one in the game a couple of years ago. Im also looking for garbage collection bats/lots. one that i remember went into the ground and got rid of garbage there. i think. Then Im looking for pollution eaters, or things to get rid of pollution. There also were several different kind of " plants" for getting rid of the garbage. But that is the only one i can remember. I used them in the game in 2005. If that is of any help. thank you mary olsonquote> Jazzmine, for your request with a park that gives money I have an answer for that . Go and search money park, the name is pretty self explanitory. The park provides you with 5K-100K a month. Never mind searching it heres a link. Hope I helped. https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?p=results

I'm having trouble finding the figures circled in red. It would be a big help if anyone could identify what I have circled here and I would like to know what water modd you used. Thanks very much.
