  3. a newbie needs help

Yeah, I agree with Michaelshayne. What I always like to do is build out before you build up. Keep adjusting taxes & funding on schools, hospitals, etc. Make sure when you zone out commercial districts that you don't have more zoned than you do residential thus ending in abandonment because not enough sims live in your city. Build parks, plazas, landmarks, etc. I like to wait till my population hits at least 25,000-30,000 before zoning high density commercial/residential/industrial. Hope I was of help, and make sure you visit omnibus section like Michaelshayne said. Happy 4th of July everyone!

    I like it great job!
  5. abandonment-can't figure out what causes it!

Well, it seems that your sims don't have any jobs. You have more residential zoned out than you do commercial thus causing the abandonment. You need to balance the two and zone some commercial districts to give the sims jobs. Hope I was of help, and that city of yours looks AMAZING! Nice suburb and keep up the good work.

I agree with what crazyyaya said; add some more custom designed, downloaded buildings, but overall thats an excellent example of New York.

But to stretch your imagination it is good to visit the popular cities/buildings of the U.S/world. Which can further more provide a knowledge and understanding of architecture, city building concepts, education, etc.. Concluding that for myself big cities make me feel crouded, and have no personal space, but you can get use to those things.

Then Im looking for pollution eaters, or things to get rid of pollution. There also were several different kind of " plants" for getting rid of the garbage. But that is the only one i can remember. I used them in the game in 2005. If that is of any help. thank you mary olsonquote> Jazzmine, for your request with a park that gives money I have an answer for that . Go and search money park, the name is pretty self explanitory. The park provides you with 5K-100K a month. Never mind searching it heres a link. Hope I helped. https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?p=results
