Since the Principauté de Caravella-Guatalaga has become a popular tourist destination, the housing market has been booming. Especially apartments in and around the capital, Port de Caravella, are popular. To meet the increased demand, the city counsel decided in 2000 to demolish an old Industrial area just outside the old city walls and rebuild the area with various apartment buildings and commercial buildings.

The new suburb build is called Abelia. The suburb is ideally located next to the old city and also has a CGLR light rail station. There is also an Aldi supermarket build on the edge of the suburb.

The most iconic building that was build in the new Abelia suburb is the Abelia tower. With 96 meters it is the highest tower in Principauté de Caravella-Guatalaga to date.

On the edge of the suburb are various commercial buildings. Beside the Aldi, there are also car dealerships located for Volkswagen, Dodge/Jeep, Chevrolet, Audi, Kia and Fiat. There is also a large Shell service station and the Red Roof Inn, a motel.

I see a lot of great looking relots in there, and some of them look awfully familiar. :sly:

I really love the coherency between all of your lots - I think the effort you took really paid off!

Fantastic lotting and layout work! I really like your choice in base textures and how cohesive everything looks. Maybe one day we'll see some of the individual lots on the STEX? :D Keep it up!

@kingofsimcity @sucram17 : I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post individual lots to the STEX as all buildings that I use are created by others. - I simply changed textures and props. Do you guys know?

So long as you give credit to the original creator there is no problem with posting relots on the STEX. :)

Very nice use of the castle set seperating old and new; got a lovely medeteranian feel, GLR seem bit masive in such classical enviroment; a tram in road would be sufficient;if GLR is the only way maybe swap the texture. I like the catenary part, allthought there also again some tram technology wich pulls electric power from a ditch inbetween tracks more for old town´s, very nice, well done !
