I began to work again on Olsènes. I decided to give the city a huge facelift, especially by changing the transport network. Here are the first pictures ;)

Well, I had also 3 mosaics but it seems I can't post it since the last ST update. I hope it will be only temporary. I will try to post them later by cutting the pictures in separate files.

Hope you enjoyed this update ;)

I always love looking at one of your CJ entry, Feyss, and this one is definitely no exception. The hours you clearly spend on each city is clearly visible. One of the things I love is the building variation. I can't see any duplicate buildings within one picture! Anyway, keep up the brilliant work! :)

Lovely arranged city works ! New, to european cities in my CJ Europa ANNO I opted to have a streetview to first avoid a mix of different city sets, bat´s are quit thinly distributed over the city´s; so some bat´s workd well, other clearly fall out of scene ! As a touched WW2 german city this may notfit, as a untouched this is a very nice execution, well done !

The attention to detail here is simply magnificent!!

Love the street and building layouts and they way you have integrated the landmark buildings and plazas.

The canals absolutely look like they belong there (not something you can say about every city)!!

Another beautiful trip to Arinsia. Your tram network is stunning as it winds through the city.

I have been looking, gazing at these pictures for about 15 minutes now. I don't really know what to say about the pictures other than they transmit a feeling of 'home'. I think it's the trams that make a city in sc4 really feel European. It's just lovely

Top notch European W2W city scenes feyss! Those tram lines are really good and I am amazed at how you get them across various transport networks, even bridges!

Very nice old city feel, with a good variety of buildings ;  I like the revamped transport system ! I would have liked to seem more of the canal/river though..:-)

Very nice city. Just one question : where do you find the catenaries for the GLR. It's so realistic and I would this lot for my city.

It's an unfinished pre-release mod from Mandelsoft. It works very well (I use it as well) and can be found here:

You need to be a member of the SC4D forums to access the attached file, which is a different account to the LEX.

Thank you! Yes, you're right: I spent a lot of time, but I still have the feeling the city doesn't progress really fast which is sometimes quite demoralizing :D

Thank you. Don't hesitate to download BATs. The most you have, the most it's better :D

Some very nice stuff. Love the rail work.

Thanks! Cities look so empty without a tramway network in my opinion :)

Thank you! Some people use to build cities full of landmarks but I prefer to build less landmarks and pay more attention to their surroundings. For the river, I think that's the Xannepan's banks that make everything :)

Thank you. I believe the same. Some european cities (like Vienna, Brussels, Prague...) would look so empty without their tramway. I think it's the NAM's feature that amazes me the most :)

How did you get the tram-on-road bridge to work properly? I've fiddled with it for hours and not gotten the game to let me plop things correctly. What's your trick?

@Cheezy the Wiz First, build the bridge. Then, build a road that will cross the elevated rail just next to the bridge's end. The, bulldoze this road, without bulldozing the intersection. Normally, the bridge would still be there and the tile just after it would be free to place the tram-in-road puzzle piece.
