Al Quoz Industrial District

At first glance the Emirate of Dhahran may seem to be full of skyscrapers and mansions, but there is much more to this Emirate than meets the eye. Situated close to the Mall of the Emirates and Sheikh Al Maktoum Road is Al Quoz Industrial District.

Al Quoz is one of the biggest industrial hubs in the Middle East and has factories and stores representing most of the world's major companies, including retail stores such as Walmart, Target, and Ikea.

I hope you have found this visit to a less glamourous part of Dhahran interesting. Please join me next time as we return to the Jumeirah waterfront.

That's friggin amazing! I think you should use the smooth curves for some of the RHW, but other than that, I can't even make a reccomendation, and that's saying alot! Fantastic Industrial Warehouses!

Funnily enough, I do quite a lot of business in the real life Al Quoz :)

And in response to titanicbuff, IL. is right - a warehouse is a warehouse no matter where you are in the world. It is going to look the same.

Great update!

Thank you everyone for your replies. I felt honoured to have got so many replies to this last update. Most of the warehouses are from the STEX or the LEX for those who are interested.

pepsi38: I believe this is one of the buildings you are after - http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/22178-gdic/. The wire factory is from http://kurier.simcityplaza.de I believe, although I couldn't find it there when I just looked, It should be on the site somewhere.
