    March, Year 13

    Newly formed is the town of Brekel, located on the southwest end of Myon Lake. It is a small farming village with a population of a few hundred.

    hspace=0http://img58.imageshack.us/img58/8466/myonmarch1319vk.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    The Myon River district of Myon City has grown a lot since when it was last seen, with some of the homes now almost under the highway going up the cliff. The highway does have a strong wall, so there shouldn't be any danger of cars falling down onto the homes.

    hspace=0http://img58.imageshack.us/img58/9341/myonmarch1320af.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    A large storm has moved though the Myon City area, bringing large amounts of rain and lighting the sky up with lightning. While the storm damaged several homes and businesses in the Myon City area, and it also got rid of the heat wave up in Ferneon. The clouds from the storm made it up over the cliff, and blanketed Ferneon in a very wet, thick fog, which cooled the air down dramatically.

    A new elevated rail line has been built in Myon City, and it also goes up to Ferneon as well. It will expand outward and down to the south as the city grows. Several shops and fast food places have been built into the lower levels, and it almost just a regular rail built on top of some buildings. More shops my open up at later times, maximizing the use of space, and also having park space in it as well.

    hspace=0http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/3930/myonmay1318ey.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    There is also development on the other side of the river, and what remains of the farms are still being destroyed. The elevated rail will come over here as well, and will be designed in the same way.

    hspace=0http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4962/myonmay1322jt.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Bruce Stanton and Trent Piening, as well as the rest of the explorers, have met at the volcano watch center to begin their exploration of the paths. Trent will examine the paths to find out how they are made and other details about them, while Bruce will explore the area around the trails to see if he can find anything interesting.

    The newest addition of to Amiton is the Amiton Docks, where there is always something to do, with food courts, shops, plenty of places to walk, swimming areas, and boat rides. New areas are still being planned for the south end, as well as more residential areas, so expect plenty of activity here in the next few years.

    hspace=0http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/7245/myonjuly1313wz.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    On the west end is the docking place for the boat for the boat rides, the main food court areas, and the fishing docks. At the fishing docks is space for 2 fishing boats, as well as a row boat renting facility for fishing with a friend, or just exploring the lake.

    hspace=0http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/5821/myonjuly1322iu.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    In the middle area are the main shops, selling almost anything you can imagine, going from restaurants to antiques. Also in this area is an inland walkway and plenty of parking space for when you come to visit.

    hspace=0http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/3209/myonjuly1333zk.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    In other news DSS has passed Gianto and Punerando, and is well on its way deeper into the other solar system. Some more planets can be detected ahead, and it seems as if there are several habitable planets.

    September, Year 13

    hspace=0http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/531/myonseptember1304um.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Myon City has gotten its first apartment buildings, located next to the EL track and near the river. So far none of the buildings is high enough to see over the levee, but there soon will be buildings that are tall enough that you can see the river and beyond.

    hspace=0http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/8946/myonseptember1319ho.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    On the other side of the river, the EL tracks have been installed, and here they go over a road to save space, as this will be the main downtown area. The population has reached 4000 in the Myon City area, accounting for almost half of the total Myon population.

    hspace=0http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/2749/myonseptember1329iy.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    The exploration in the volcano area has found the largest settlement built by the native Myonians of all the exploration, and it seems that this one was a full village, complete with homes, bath areas, lookout stations, and a building area. IT is located on the eastern rim of the mountains, and the tower on the west side where the trail goes down into the valley and the volcano seems to have been built to keep and eye on the volcano, and the one on the east side looks over the plains around the Melime river, possibly to look out for enemy tribes, or wild animals, or floods.

    On Terra, a large, advanced city, named Uptasant, has broken off all contact with the outside world, and no one knows what is going on there. This city, as well as the areas around it have always opposed the colonization of Myon, but now it seems as if they are doing something about it, or they may not be. The city is located in the northern regions of Terra, in several large sinkholes linked by numerous tunnels. While the area above the sinkholes is icy due to the cooling effect to the supervolcano at New Chicago, the area where the city has stayed warm, possibly due to numerous heaters in the area, or just because it is a big city.

    The city has a large number of the latest spaceships built for protection of Myon and Terra, and to combat the threat of if they attack, a new type of ship, a capital ship, is being made.

    Amiton is spreading east, towards Myon Dam, as new housing developments are built on the east end of the Amiton Docks. The total Amiton population has gone up to around 4000 people, raising the total Myon population to near 10,000 people.

    hspace=0http://img290.imageshack.us/img290/4100/myonnovember1316xi.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    A small island has been added in the lake, just south of the area where the boat tours are offered, and there you can fish on the outer docks, swim around the inner ones and down by the bridge, or just watch the waves and the birds in the area.

    Myon Space News

    The new capital ship design, name the CS-1, has been completed, and construction of the first ones is already underway.

    hspace=0http://img290.imageshack.us/img290/5817/myonnovember1364jv.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    View from the main command center of the CS-1.

    It is around 4200 feet long, 900 feet wide, and 300 feet tall, with 30 floors in the total ship. This is the biggest ship ever made, being around 500 feet longer that DSS and around 1200 feet longer than the LSF-1, which had 18 floors.. It is powered by 5 high power ion engines, and 2 massive AGPUs as well, and con have limited air flight as well as space flight. IT can fly at around 225,000 MPH at top speed.

    The weapons on the ship include 15 dual plasma guns on each side, which fire large hunks of plasma at the target, that tend to cause explosions on a ship due to the temperature difference. Similar in design to the AF-1, there are numerous panels that open up if something gets too close allowing an automated laser inside to shoot at it. In the front end of the ship are 2 pods that open up, revealing 4 missile tubes and an ion cannon in each one. The ion cannons do minimal damage to a ships body, but disrupt the electronic devices and wiring in the areas around where it hit, sometimes knocking an entire ship out of commission if it hits in the correct spot.

    The ship has strong armor for defense, and even the windowed areas are well defended, featuring a strong, clear alloy that can take a hit from anything but a high power missile or a plasma gun round when in top condition, though a regular missile may be able to knock it out of its frame if it hits in the correct spot. If a window does break, a blast shield will fold out of the wall, sealing the hole. For larger holes, the affected area will be sealed off using particle shields, which block any form of matter from going through the shield.

    A satellite picture taken of the Uptasant area shows what appears to be a huge skyscraper rising out of a sinkhole, but due to interference in the region a clearer picture could not be taken.

    Scans of the solar system have picked up a disturbance near the outer edge of the solar system, located outside the asteroid belt. What it is the scientists don't know, but it may be the unidentified object seen by DSS a while ago.

    Construction has begun on Amiton Stadium, a large complex of buildings that will include indoor basketball, tennis, swimming, and an indoor hockey stadium. On the outside area will be basketball, tennis, soccer and a softball field. All fields will be available to the public for practicing or just to have fun as long as there are no games scheduled for the field.

    hspace=0http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/4013/myonjanuary1419ib.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    The Myon City suburbs have expanded to the southwest, increasing the population to over 5,000 people. One of the strangest streets in town is Twister St., which starts down by the townhouses, goes south, loops around a block before crossing itself, travels west for awhile, then twists its way though the new suburbs crossing over itself again, before ending close to the school.

    Myon Space News

    The scientists up at Myon Spaceport think they have discovered a new way of teleporting, using a portable teleporter for the starting point, and entering the ending point into the control computer. The teleporter and whatever they attach to it though a special wiring system, is also teleported. Objects that are not attached to the wiring system are not teleported unless they are inside the object being teleported. However, while this process worked on the computer simulations, they could not get the real version to work at all, despite the fact that it is built according to the instructions on the computer simulation. A few of the scientists think it may be Myon's gravity that is causing the problems, but as of now this is not confirmed.

    DSS is approaching the Stella Nueva system, and has returned pictures of the outer planets, as well as several lower quality pictures of the inner ones using a higher power telescope camera. The pictures are currently being examined by the Myon Space Foundation, and will be released to the public at a later date.

    Latest progress on Amiton Stadium, the outdoor stuff is beginning to be built.

    hspace=0http://img331.imageshack.us/img331/7464/myonmarch1417og.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Amiton has spread to the eastern bulge of Amiton Lake, and can't expand this way anymore. Amiton will now expand to the north, and into the open desert. Amiton Lake has also reached its final level, and will stay at this level for the rest of its existence on Myon.

    hspace=0http://img331.imageshack.us/img331/4792/myonmarch1423ro.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    The Myon Dam power plant is now complete, and is able to generate enough power to power Myon even when the population goes over 500,000, and possibly even more. The industry in the area is spreading out, and the minor seaport is beginning to get used to move goods around the Myon River area.

    hspace=0http://img331.imageshack.us/img331/7707/myonmarch1439cl.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Here you can see all of the settled area of Myon so far, where there is plenty of space left, as well as plenty of areas that will be left alone, such as an area just south of Myon City between Myon Lake and Myon River.

    A new creature has been discovered over by the volcano observatory station, it is at max around 12 to 14 feet long, green, scaly, and is able to fly using wings on its  front legs. As with the birds found by the Melime River, this creature seems to use jet propulsion to move though the air, but this creatures engines seem to be in its feet. They seem to hide in the forest away from people right now, but they are beginning to get used to the colonists and are gradually leaving their hiding spaces.

    The rail lines have spread all the way down to Myon Dam, and go though the south end of Myon City now. Population is increasing rapidly, and around one thousand people moved in recently, causing a surge in development. However, as the mystery around Uptasaunt increases, there may be a time when less people move in, especially if a war breaks out. So far, they have remained secretive, but now military developments have been reported.

    hspace=0http://img345.imageshack.us/img345/8422/myonmay1412gx.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Farther south, the rail goes across a new inlet made to go to the forests behind the levee which is now only for keeping the rail above the water in a flood. The whole area on the west side of Myon River will be reserved for the native creatures, and possibly will become a national park some day.

    Myon Space News

    A small test ship modified to have the portable teleporter on it has successfully teleported a short distance away from Myon. It seems that it was the gravity that was causing the problems, and more tests on bigger ships and more cargo types will continue to see how well it performs.

    DSS is getting closer to the other solar system, and will soon enter the outer edges of the inner solar system near what appears to be a habitable planet similar in size to Myon. The newest pictures are still being examined, but they will soon be released to the public.

    July, Year 14

    hspace=0http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/2739/myonjuly1407ag.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Amiton stadium has been finished, and many people came to the grand opening party last week. Not only are people coming here to watch the local games that are being played at some times, but people are also coming just to have fun playing games themselves, or going swimming in the large indoor pool.

    Myon Space News

    DSS is approaching the new solar system, and possibly some time next year it will come into the inner system, go into orbit around Stella Nueva, and release some of the miniprobes to explore the planets.

    hspace=0http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/5268/myonjuly1411fh.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    A recent picture taken by DSS has it approached the inner system shows several planets out in the outer system in a clump, with the largest being a massive iron one, but nowhere near as big as Gianto was. The iron planet will be named Ferrindo, the gas planet on the right will be named Juperater, the ringed gas planet on the left will be named Sateron, and the brown planet near Sateron will be named Samarion. These will be the last planets that will be named, as the planets in the other system will be named by what any civilization there class them, or if there are no civilizations there, the names will be voted on by the public.

    HAB-1
    hspace=0http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/5634/myonjuly1420ll.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    DSS then aimed its high power telescopes at the new system, taking several pictures of the objects in the area nearest DSS. A planet similar to Myon only with a lot more water was found, and it had several areas of light on the night side. It is not know if this is a civilization, a lot of fires, or something else, but it is definitely an object of interest.

    ROK-1
    hspace=0http://img317.imageshack.us/img317/3084/myonjuly1436ax.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Also found was a large rocky object in the middle of the reddish dust cloud that was seen earlier. While it doesn't look very big on the picture, it is actually much bigger than the habitable planet just seen. However, it seems to be hollow in some places, as the gravity is much lower that what you would expect.

    GAS-1
    hspace=0http://img317.imageshack.us/img317/8826/myonjuly1448yk.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    As DSS came in, something about the second star in the system got the scientist's attention, so they had DSS take a picture of it as well. What appeared to be a star was actually a huge, bright gas planet that reflected most of the light that hit it, causing it to appear to be a star from a distance. However, it is still huge, much larger than even the giant rock and Ferrindo, but not as large as Tronta or Gianto.
