Blue Island City: Overview
sirgeoj2 commented on ByeByeBayou's City Journal Entry in Wade City Archipelago
Absolutely stunning city. Love how it's broken up into different districts and across little islands. -
This CJ is simply ASTOUNDING! The level of realism of your work here is beyond anything I have seen here before. A well deserved 5 stars for you.

I would like to request a very simple lot, well, I guess it's not simple enough for me to make A simple 1x1 overhanging tile that I can use to make the underside of my monorails through the city paved. If you could please make a few different versions using the pink and white and whatever else suits your fancy of these tiles: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=11315 It would be greatly appreciated. There just does not seem to be enough overhanging lots out there. And the ones that are out there are not simple enough to just use over and over again undera long line of monorail or el rail. Thanks!! A good example of what I want is the overhanging water tile for the BSC Canals. I just want something paved, instead of water.

I know the answer to this question is probably no....but.....is it possible to make a single tile lot that something can be placed over...for example, placing a cement tile underneath a monorail without having to use overhanging lots. I dont know if I was dreaming or what, but I seem to remember a while ago placing a ped mall tile underneat a rail line, it was only one ped mall tile that would do that tho, that was a few years back and now none of them do that.

I am pleased to bring you page 2! This is a very nice CJ! It is very refreshing and straightforward. Nice pics and well laid out cities!

Very nice! Its cool to see in the region view how it started from a few cities at the headwaters and has grown and grown.

I know its been quite a few months since this topic has been posted to, (I havn't been here in a while but I always try and make time to come to simtropolis at least once in a while. This is a big issue cause once you have alot of plugins it takes you like 10 minutes to scroll down to the lower plugins on the list (well, im exaggerating). But I was thinking, is it possible to instead of having that arrow, making a scroll bar that you can use to 'slide' instead of waiting for that arrow to scroll you down? I know, its prob. a stupid question, its only something that can be programmed into the game itself, but there are alot of talented ppl out there that have found ways around things, so I just thought I would throw that idea in.

I would like to see a modular university. A HUGE modular university, with all the different types of buildings you would expect from a major university. And I would like to see it more modern than the old Maxis one also. Thanks!
-
Anyone working on a modular University pack? preferably a more modern architectural style than the Maxis one.
-
I have a request for all of you very talented BATers. I would really like to have a modular university. Something that is a little more modern than the in-game one and more extensive. It would be ideal to have seperate buildings for different studies such as science, art, literature, ect. admin buildings, dormatories, sports centers, theaters, the works. They could be different architecture, like the science lab might be a little more futuristic looking than the literature building but all have elements that fit them together as one common architectural unit. Anyway, good luck and I really hope one of you or many of you are able to create this!
