ind. jobs: 4,558

not my most populated piece of work but my best city as far as layout goes.

Zokadin:

Nice Downtown.I see you're using the HRS.But I would be a lot more wonderful if you added seawalls to the shore.

I got tired of bare ground under the El-Rail in urban environments.

jsunderelrailtarmac.jpg

Certainly not a great accomplishment but I think it looks a whole lot better.

It's not a mod. It's a set of lots with overhanging props I made.

Very nice JayStimson - The bare ground under the el rail always bothered me. Will you be sharing?

Not sure. These are very specific. Not sure how many people make such urban El-Rail configurations.

What I'd really like, but haven't quite decided how or what yet, is to make stuff that will go under the El-Rail

in open spaces. Something like scrub brush and weeds maybe.

Believe in only what you can prove.

Nice one mate, the texture rendering is flawless!

Thanks mate. But actually it's not quite flawless. If you look closely you can see the edges of the 16x16 tiles.

Easy to get rid of with minor custom LOD work. Probably fix it this weekend.

It did however take me a few attempts to get the texture to match in-game. gmax just loves to adjust colors and brightness.

My accomplishment is in the STEX. My

dayview.png

It's not one of my latest, but it's one of my favorites.

I'm the 'A' to the 'r', to the c-h-e-a-n,
and even though my name means 'old' I'm really quite pimp,
I'm Archilicious.

regio.png

This is a region I was working on, since my computer crashed I didn't really get to work on it some more but I will soon.

The big city on the left with the Central Park is the biggest one with a population of 1 million people. The city at the right with the zones spread out over the city tile had at the moment a population of about 500.000 but that had been expanded to 740.000 (now I'm having some trouble with demand in that city). Then there is a city which is focussed on the beach, this city has a park in the middle. As you might see I've made more land in this city, mainly because I could optimize it for beaches and that I could get a decent population of 300.000.

Those three cities are the main residential cities which are also really focussed on commercial offices and services. What I like most about these cities is that every city has another zoning style which leads to another atmosphere in every city.

In this screenshot you also see two big industrial cities. Sadly that isn't a accomplishment at all, the demand dropped heavily and this leads to enormous budgetary problems. I think I will demolish that and build commercial based cities as well.

Took me about 8 months , a summer, a winter, 2 hours in photoshop, and a trip to Las Vegas to put everything you see in that city together. I can't say how proud I am of all that hard work :')
