In case someone encounters the same problem: I now have found out what the problem was. The registry doesn't have anything to do with it. It is perfectly possible to install the patches with a 64bit operational system. The reason I couldn't install the patches was my COMODO internet security. It blocked some part of the patch after seeing it as some malware. What helped, was to completely shut down every function of COMODO while installing the patches... Anyway, thanks for the help!

Yes that's true. And since I wanted to answer anyway and just created a picture to show where to find which mirror tool, here it is... -

Well, I tried selecting the elements of the object before using mirror and it worked without causing Gmax to crash. -

Does anyone know why Gmax crashes when I try to mirror certain objects? (with the mirror tool under "parametric modifiers", not the one under "tools") -
If memory serves, that version requires the SKU2 patch. Is that the one you're trying? No, I have reinstalled the game and the unpatched .exe is 1.1.613.0. The RH Patch makes it a 1.1.638.0... How can I the registry entry? Might there be a problem with windows 7? edit: I checked the registry. The path seems to be the right one... edit 2: what is odd about my sc4 registry entry is that it's found under windows and not under software>Electronic Arts>Maxis. Maybe the installation of the patch can't even find the sc4 entry because it's not where it's supposed to be. On the computer, where everything is fine, the registry entry is located correctly. edit 3: I did found the right SC4 registry now. However, it's under "Wow6432Node>Maxis>SimCity4". Still I think that the patch installation might not be able to find the registry

I certainly wouldn't want to live in one of the houses next to the plant

I installed it in a completely different folder. But on my other computer that was the case as well and the patches worked fine nevertheless... And I certainly didn't do anything illegal. Or does the patch installation recognize that I'm simultaneously using the same game (with the same key) on two different systems?

Apparently the version number is 1.1.613.0

I've tried several different sources, including what you posted. It never worked

Hi! I'm trying to get my SC4 Deluxe working on a laptop, but the problem i'm having is that I can't install the first patch for it. Each time an error comes at about 7 percent, as you can see in the attached picture. I'm using the same game version and the same patch version as I did before on another computer and there weren't any problems there... I have tried reinstalling it, but it didn't help. Does anyone know what to do about it?
Very nice, Out of curiosity, what country would these be based on? If I had to guess I'd say someplace like the UK maybe?
Well, originally I only planned the one version with the brick walls and this appearance is common in northern Germany (e.g. in Hanover). The version with the white walls was a request, but at least plaster covered walls are often found in southern Germany and Austria, as far as I know.

Well, after another batless year, here comes something new from me. Again civic, again fictional. This time there are two buildings, their only differences are textures and the lots they're on. Both are elementary schools and are inspired by local architecture. Stats: - Lot Size: 2x3 - Capacity: 500 - Coverage Radius: 1000 - Monthly Costs: 300 (for the capacity) and 200 (for the coverage radius) - Costs to build: 1000 - Bulldoze Costs: 400 Dependencies: - https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1180 (mostly the fences on one of the lots) As always, thanks to the Simforum members for their helpful advices.
