Welcome to page 21....

Umm NE can't play Indy or SD in the Super Bowl as Indy and SD are AFC teams.

But I still think  its smoke and mirrors they have no running game. But they still look impressive.

Not bad 8-4 so far this week

Texans come back from way down only to lose to a record setting 8th FG in one game with 3 secs left.8.gif.

Cowboys look good today not awesome but good.

Whos worse the Rams or Dolphins?

Precisely, so if SD got to the AFC Championship game, they would have to go through the Patriots to go to the Super Bowl, and somehow I'm not seeing it.  As much as I would love SD to get there, NE just looks too good.

NE could pull a '98 Vikings too. Steamroll every team, go 15-1 into the playoffs only to have your mark of perfection fail you when it matters most. For the Vikes it was kicker Gary Anderson who never missed until he missed the game-winning kick in the NFC championship game. It's possible that Brady could do the same, but hopefully not.

But the main difference between the 98 Vikes and 07 Pats is that the Vikes defense that year was a joke.  NE's defense is...well...incredible isn't strong enough of a word

Edit:  And now that I think about it...Randy Moss played for both teams....weird!

easy bakes-actually we have a great running game too, we just haven't needed to use it. We have bruiser in sammy morris, an explosive third down back in kevin faulk, and a good 1st string balanced runner in maroney, as well as one of the top lines in the game.

Super Bowl will most likely be pats and dallas. San Diego has no chance because the pats have adalius thomas to shut down gates, making the chargers a one dimensional running team, and the patriots can stop the run.

Z0mg...Red Sox, World Series...Boston Brewens, 5-3 probably gonna be good this year...Boston Celtics, Ray Allen, Paul Peirce, and Kevin Garnet...Patriots, undefeated, looking like the best team ever in the history of football...

You're so lucky 3.gif

Bah. All this buzz about San Diego...? Chargers are overrated!

As a Broncos fan, I should probably still be wearing the ol' paper bag over the Week 5 debacle, but as long as Cutler plays like he did against Pittsburgh the Broncos should be fine. Unfortunately, we have no run defence.

However, even if I didn't hate the Chargers, all this Super Bowl buzz for a 3-3 team seems a little preemptive. If the Chargers can manage to win the AFC West, we'll talk.

Sim-yep 3.gif don't forget about #2 BC playing at #8 VT tonight, with matt ryan playing for the heisman 3.gif

The patriots-best team in history

Red sox-lookin like they will win this in 4-5 games

celtics-look strong, cant hand the championship to them like the sox and pats, but they will certainly contend if they dont win it

bruins-probably not a contender, but for the mean time, a Very good looking pretender 3.gif

BC football-#2 in the country, national title contender

BC basketball-step down from last year but has a lot of young talent

even my high school football teams record is 5-0 and we have our big rivalry games coming up!

WOOHOOOO!!!

SD gets another impresive victory! An amazing game! 4-3....

I don't get why the NFl let NY and Miami play in London? The Brits didn't know what was going on. It should have been NE and Indy or something

as for the NE-Indy game next week

I want the Colts but the Pats will win....

52-7.

I knew it would be ugly but I didn't think it would be that ugly.

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. Me and some other guys were watching the Saints play, but when the reports were coming in about the Patriots-Skins game, the consensus was pretty much "Good <bleep>! The Pats are just trashing the Skins."

EDIT:  Well I just learned something. 18.gif

Wow...that has to be the most thorough demolition of a football team i have ever seen 52-7

was 52-0 with out those extra points washington chipped in at the end of the game. Reminds me of the cowboys super bowl, in 1993 i think, where we owned the Bills 52-17

Easy Bakes: you did really really well on your picks! not a single one wrong!

My picks were the same, except I gambled and said Rams over Browns and Vikes over Eagles...not because I'm a fan, but because I actually thought they could win. Oh, and I had Bucs over Jags.

There was an article on ESPN.com about next week's Colts vs. Pats as being the NFL's good vs. evil battle. Colts are good and saintly because Dungy is a die-hard christian, Peyton is married with kids, they're all sportsman like, active in the community, humble...whatever. The Patriots are evil because Belichick always scowls, Brady dates supermodels and actresses, they run up the score on weak teams, they always complain no matter how good they are...

The columnist was...and idiot. There is no such thing as running up the score in professional sports. You're all professionals. It's not like they called timeouts and threw hail marys...they beat the dolphins badly because they could. He put Brady back in the game because the backup threw 2 picks and Miami was starting to come back. Second, all NFL teams have most of the players active in the community. Third, I'd date supermodels if I had a chance to too...Brady is a man. Nay, THE man.

Anyway...I've loved the Patriots for years...but I still hate the Red Socks. They bought this world series just like their "evil" rivals the Yankees did for all those years. I was pulling for the Rockies well before the All-Star break, and it sucks that it had to end this way. At least people will be talking about this season for a long long time.

Whooo 12-0 though that Jags game was close.

It was a needed win for SD for sure, after the fires and all. But the Texans just made so many mistakes. The biggest being that ridiculous snap to the kicker (can't remember his name), which went flying over his head and then the ball went flying down the field, into the endzone, and the bloody kicker couldn't even drop himself onto the ball! All SD had to do was pick up the ball, and bam!, a TD for SD. Houston just gave them free points!

Not to mention all the interceptions and incompletes the Texans were throwing.

So SD is still tied with Kansas City for top spot in the AFC West.

[Hey, let's tone it down, okay?] Marc

footballfever-And the colts are good?!!! Peyton Manning is the biggest sellout ever! I wouldn't be suprised to see a Peyton Manning Tampax Pearl commericial! The patriots are the definetion of team. How many other teams have linebackers who play tightend and quarterbacks who play on kickoff coverage?
