Sure it can.  That'll pale in comparison to the day when the Texans beat the Cowboys in the Super Bowl. 3.gif

Well the Giants lost......Eli was horrible. 4 picks. Lost 42-14 to the Vikings. Well on the good side, they are still holding the wild card position.

Yea, with about 10 minutes to go in the game, it seemed that the Bears postseason chances were over.

Actually, the Vikes scored only 41. They aren't that good, as in good enough to score 6 touchdowns in one game.

Lol i was at Sports Clips getting a hair cut and watching the Bears and Broncos. The announcer says: Devin Hester has not been much of a factor today *like 3 return yards on 2 punts* I said to my hairstylist, no way thats gonna stay that way, 5 bucks he makes this a touchdown. A second later Devin Hester is in the end zone and my prediction was true 3.gif

and no, i didnt take the stylist up on the bet 3.gif

Man, that was so close. Moss was so robbed on that TD he had with "Offensive Pass Interference"

I could smell the BS from Minnesota.

Speaking of Minnesota - 3 interceptions for TDs? How awesome is that? I only saw two of them because I was sleeping off some long island iced teas...but they were awesome.

football_fever-you betcha. It seems every day the officials are out to get the pats. Terrible Pass interference call, and all game long lito sheppard pushed randy after 5 yards and it never got called.

I gotta hand it to the eagles though. That was a genuis gameplan. The "get at tom bradys feet" thing came from nowhere, but worked pretty well. And that onside kick well...i called it. I knew they were going to do it.

now the pats on the other hand....

why on earth did our practice squad db (eddie jackson) play when we had a completely healthy roster (aside from the probable right shoulder injury that tom brady has had since....2003?). He wasn't even facing forward have the time! and why on earth did belicheck continue to leave the middle wide open.

As for getting exposed, i dont think we were, because not many teams have the combination of a good pash rush and two pro bowl corners like philly, plus, the patriots change there stratedgy each week (3-4, 4-3 , pass first, run first, etc.)

Thursday night football!

Romo and the Cowboys vs Favre and the Packers!

I am going with the Packers on this one!

Packers will win by a field goal or a td or by one pt.

On a more serious note, Redskins pro bowl safety, Sean Taylor, was shot earlier today.   link

He was shot in the femoral artery and lost a lot of blood.  He has not regained consciousness since coming out of surgery hours ago.  Locally, they are reporting that, if he survives, he might have brain damage due to the blood loss.

To say the team is shaken would be a vast understatement.

Everyone says he had managed to turn things around, put his rowdy past behind him; that he was one of these guys who was inspired by fatherhood to get his act together.

Usually they describe people as being in "critical but stable" condition.  Sean is just described as "critical".

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

I think with TO and Romo and Witten, i'm taking the Cowboys over the Packers. But it is going to be close, I take them over a touchdown.
