That could be a problem, because you still aren't as good as a zuke, or even just Lauren because both can attack without even touching you.

@ zelgadis: Well, you sure don't know much about Kentucky liquor do you? Take a look at Small batch bourbons I frankly have difficulty with that pig rinse you want to drink. A real lady wouldn't touch that stuff.

    @ ardecila: ARD!

Well, I am glad someone still does classics. Do you do Greek as well? Have you noticed that Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is available in both Latin and Attic Greek as well as Welsh and Irish?

@ Bookworm: I think the first title was Tarzan of the Apes. You can see all the gory details on the site Tarzan . There are several fan sites, and a big community.

@ Leech10: Now, I have just turned on the tanglefoot field. Cool it. Bar fights are not needed here. Religions are like text editors. We don't discuss them here. Zelgadis, didn't grandma get run down by a reindeer?

@ The Terminator: Your remarks are offensive and off colour. Go to your room!

@ brtim2: Enjoy the spitzen und sparken, then. Your facts are correct, but irrelevant to a Canadian immigrant.

@ General Gunfire: I guess you didn't notice your food has arrived on the table.

Likewise, if you think Woodford Reserve is pig rinse. Touche. 18.gif

I don't do small batch bourbons anyway. Too much expense for such a small increase in flavor. They're overrated.

@ Leech10: What wires? We are completely on broadcast power here from North American Power Air (NAPA). Suggest you give up the D&D books and read Waldo by Bob Heinlein.

    @ The Terminator: Most amusing.

Just saw a commercial on TV:

Hillary Duff is performing at the Kentucky State Fair.

I don't know which is worse. Being a mediocre pop star performing at the Kentucky State Fair, or being a mediocre pop star having the last name of a fictional, cheap beer company.

Of course, worse yet, one could be both, as is proven here.

I'm not a terribly big Hillary Duff fan. Can you tell? 18.gif

No, I just do Latin, although the NJCL does have some Greek-related academic tests and such. They are not full Greek, however - just English derivatives of Greek, and then Greek culture. I believe the language of Plato and Socrates has fallen by the wayside, at least in pre-university schools....

*remembers Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure*

No, I didn't know about the Harry Potter books. I don't see how they'd be useful, other than to get kids interested in Latin/Greek at a young age. I'll have to pick one up and see how much I can understand.

A few years ago, I got a German version of HP1 as a birthday present. I was horribly lost...

@Leech10: Be careful those zukes don't play in the traffic. I heard there were some Vogon surveyors around. Enjoy your food.

@djrules5454_simtropolisedition: Well, good for you. Here, have a slice and a beer on us.

@zelgadis: Poor lady. Image having to put up with all that Duff ... erm guff!

@ardecila: Well, have a good time. Do you have a copy of Winni ille pooh?

@Shadow_Assassin: Sure. Think of what you'd like done with chocolate and the autosystem will make it happen.

@ zelgadis: Well, maybe it is time to put geeky Star Trek toys in a box, move them to Canada and scatter them around your office. Could be a neat way to connect to students, eh?

    What is a vogon?
quote> Obviously my lad, you've been playing too much D&D. Your education seems to be sorely lacking. A Vogon is an alien fully described in The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It is incredible in this day and age that you haven't read it. Maybe someone else will enlighten you. I simply encourage a trip to the public library.

91%? Eh, we here have 150,000+ and are 96% white. And we are the only county in Maryland to have actually gained in percentage of white persons. While the White Democrats preach about Baltimore City and changing this and that, they are actually moving out into our county to be away from them. And then they wonder where all the farmland went. Duh, it's under your house. You bulldozed over it for your house on an 1/8 of an acre you payed $300,000 for. And everytime the local paper talks about vanishing farmland they always interview people and they say we moved in 7 years ago... can't they find a native Carroll Countian? Or have they all sold their farms and moved?

Sorry, I just hate how our population has tripled in the past 20 years and no one cares to do anything about it. The government put a moratorium on house construction and then was sued by developers. And the government lost. Wouldn't they know what is best for the local area?

Anywho, we played again last Friday, we lost by one run. But take a look at this. This is from making a sliding catch. And sports fields are supposed to be soft. (Sorry for the quality, it was my camera phone.)
    image0090bl.jpg alt=Image Hosted by Imag
That is one cut at my knee and blood oozing out of it and running down my leg. Scrumptious.

And... this time I was prepared. I had long sleeves, long pants, gloves and I washed as soon as I was done, and I still got poisen ivy on my arms - and this time face. And it keeps creeping closer to my eye. Argh! Perhaps I am very, very, very suseptible to poisen ivy.

EDIT: Hopefully fixed the picture. Yummy.

@ Leech10: Don't tell me you've never heard of Dungeons & Dragons? It was one of the earliest off-line RPGs. Bumps and grinds by the zukes should be performed for an audience.

@zelgadis: Here you are. GoodGone3_animation.gif alt=SPAM Enjoy. Last week of classes? You are moving with no break? That sucks. BTW, vis-a-vis the white majority, you will be in a minority in the GTA.

@ vidioman: Well, by coincidence, our old plates got replaced today. 250 KBL is now AWHA 296. The AW series appears to be province wide.

@The Terminator: Are you sure you wouldn't like some cheese with that whine? Your fried chicken and dealcoholized beer are on your table.

@brtim2: Maybe you should have a chat with your personal physician about your sensitivity to poison ivy. You've been exposed too often and there is some danger of shock the next time. Lost by one? Awwww. Couldn't view your image. It needs to be a proper graphics file.

I have never played Dungeons and Dragons, and I don't read that many novels either. The only ones I remember reading lately is HP and the HBP and Star Wars. Other than that, about all I read are magazines, usually dealing with science or mechanics.

@Leech10: Takes a lot of courage to say you don't read much. I hope you will find as much pleasure in reading as I have as your life continues.

Being retired, I find reading to be great for both updating myself (news stuff) and recreation (novels, histories, science fiction and fantasy).
