*The Victrola emits a screeching sound as it tries to play 2 records at once.*

TT, there was already a record on there.

*General Gunfire smashes the Victrola to bits, as he hates screeching. AGH!*

*General Gunfire then takes back the record and immediately teleports it to the black market and receives $5,000,000 back which he promptly inserts into his numbered swiss bank account*

I would like a pepsi too, thanks.

Well good to see you back TDL. When you said OC I got scared, I thought you meant OC, New Jersey. I would have had to talk some sense into you. I've been there once and I hated it. I'll always like OC, MD. Although I have been to (and will be back there soon) Long Island Beach, NJ, that wasn't too bad. At least it was free since we got there plenty early (5 am).

I was just near there, traveled three hours to play in a softball tourney in Salisbury, but we stayed in Ocean Pines, just before OC. I'm still feeling the heat and humidity, and I stopped playing 5 hours ago. I think I may have been close to heat exhaustion. But a nice shower shall fix that.

And, tomorrow morning I will be flying out of Baltimore Airport (D.C. already has 2 airports, why do they need a third?) and heading to Costa Rica for a week. I hope it goes well. It'll certainly be different than Ocean City, that's for sure.

OC, MD is obviously the better place to go.  I've been to OC, NJ, actually about 3 days after 9/11... 47.gif anyway, I've got another week of work until I finally get to enjoy the sun, surf, and sand.  Not quite Costa Rica, but maybe that's a good thing.

I'm in the mood for some seafood.  How about the seafood platter?  I hear the broiled salmon is exquisite.

Wow. It really is quiet in here. I leave for a shortened week and things get pretty dead in here. It's like the Mooses have gone into hibernation for the summer or something. But I would like to reintroduce my presence, back from Costa Rica since Sunday. Sorry for the somewhat ratty clothes. I may have made it through the changeover in Atlanta, but my bag didn't. It didn't even make the next flight into Baltimore. It's somewhere in Delta's hands now, and that is a scary thought.

And something they have a lot of in CR, Iced Tea with Lime. I know, strange. But it tastes really good.

chocolatemax285: Welcome. The autosystem serves the hot chocolate Whenever you want something, think at the autosystem, and it will provide. Enjoy your stay, interact with the others.

The_Dalai_Llama: The seafood platter consists of one grilled salmon fillet piece, two king crab legs, half a Nova Scotia lobster, an arctic char steak, and assorted mussels, winkles and other decor. A pitcher of drawn butter accompanies this, with shoe string potatoes and fresh asparagus. Enjoy. I think the autochef really did it up right this time.

brtim2: Iced tea with lime it is. A bowl of fresh lime slices accompanies this. Put the amount of lime in you like. Enjoy. How was your holiday? Lost your luggage? Air travel is not only expensive for fares, eh?

Shadow_Assassin: M-m-m good! Your next item is on the house. Thanks.

The Terminator: A couple of interesting fonts, but we really can't domicile a Canadian operation in New Jersy in view of the attitude of the new U.S. Ambassador, who isn't on our side. In fact, he is not on your side either. One day, we are going to let you freeze to death in the dark. SmilieCanada.gif

TT, your post is spoiled by a spelling mistake in the first line [i am sure it was a typo].

Anyway, facism and socialism do not apply to either country. You should know by now that U.S. is run by the Party of Sweetness and Light and Canada is run by the Party of Light and Sweetness. Both do a very good job of buying votes using the taxpayer's own money.

Thanks to Peter E. Waterhole (former P.M. P.E.T) we have gone from the FLQ crisis where the government acted like an occupying army in Quebec (shades of Wolfe and Montcalm) to the present bumbler in the East Wing of the Parliament Buildings, a.k.a. Uncle Paul.

Thanks to G. H. B. you now have his degenerate scion in 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. who never says anything that someone else hasn't written. The U.S. government is heading for the state you will find in Bob Heinlein's Revolt in 2100. When the Angels of the Lord support the Prophet living in the White House, Canada will be the only refuge.

P.S. Did you know that Benjamin Franklin was once the military governor of Montreal?

P.P.S. Newark, Ontario is now called Niagara-on-the-Lake. It used to be the capital of Canada.

Ah, the vacation. The vacation itself wasn't too terribly bad. I got to do some interesting things both in the countryside of Costa Rica and in the city of Liberia. Wasn't too bad of a place, and considering it was during the rainy season and it didn't rain more than one day, things were looking good.

Can't say the same thing about the flights though. On the way there I got sat next to an older couple, probably retired. The husband was watching a Shania Twain concert on his laptop very, very intently. It was akward just sitting next to him. And his wife was reading a magazine I think was written for a female my age. Just a little wierd. And I was stuck like this for the 4+ hour flight from Atlanta to CR.

On the way back, well that was a whole 'nother issue, mostly involving the stopover in Atlanta. I don't know why they do the things they do there, but they do. And thanks to us landing late because of the weather we barely made it onto the plane to go from Atl. to Balt. But, our luggage didn't. But the next flight from Atl. was going to land about 20min after we did, so we decided to wait (and because Delta gave us food vouchers for the one place that was open). Well, 4 of 6 bags show up. So I'm still missing mine. But it arrived at my front door at 8 in the morning the next day, so it got to Balt. somehow.

So I didn't have my bag for a couple of hours (didn't bother me too much) and I got some free pizza out of Delta. Not too shabby.

But I would love to go back to CR, just not on Delta.

And TDL, have fun on your trip to OC if you are lurking 'round here. It ain't like CR, but it has much better waves.

*There is a loud rumbling noise, and the entire wall lifts off of the building. Several megleeches dress TT up like a girl, and then throw pies in his face, before giving him a wedgie. Lauren the Muphridian takes several pictures of TT before telekineticly flinging him into the dumpster, and then the wall moves back into place like nothing happened.*

    Is that good?
