both of APTX's sites listed here are down again... ygghhh

Also: Is it just me or is there a problem with ks's download? I keep getting corrupted zip files that won't extract. I've downloaded with Chrome, Firefox, and Safari multiple times

APTX uploaded much of his work to the Japanese site Hide and Seek a little over a year ago under the name APTX-2012. Try this link. Not sure if everything is there, but at least a lot of it is.

As for the corrupt zip files, many Japanese creators use WinRAR. What program are you using to unzip the files?

Nope everything by him isn't there, for instance i have been looking EVERYWHERE for the shin marunouchi building by him and no luck even there.

I know some of his stuff is on simcity china as well, and i think some on SC4devotion as well not sure but again not everything.

I'm using WinRAR as well.

when I open the archive, all the files seem to be there, but when I attempt to extract I get the 'unexpected end of archive' error

Hi,

I have downloaded a number of Japanese buildings for SC4 from this site:

http://sc4batworks.web.fc2.com/dbat.html

A few of these work perfectly, the models display in game and seem to function. However, the one i really wanted http://sc4batworks.web.fc2.com/109const.html appears in game as a blank lot, despite the fact that when I go to plop it from the Landmarks menu, it appears 'ghosted' so I can plop it, but then instantly disappears when plopped. Obviously I'm probably missing a model file or something. Wondered if anyone had any experience of making this particular building 'work', because it's gorgeous!

A google search reveals these packs at SC4D, but they look like they are CAM related - (I am not a CAM player) - may be that I need to install these packs, but none of the other buildings i downloaded from the japanese site seem to need them.

Thanks!

Thanks!

The bat should appear after a number of in game years, it doesn't appear instantly. Also the sc4 dev links aren't CAM lots, they are all the models and files for them i believe
