I'm from wonderful Macon, Georgia...not the most exciting place to live but it's home. I'm an architecture student. I was studying at Southern Polytechnic but I'm starting at Georgia Tech in the fall. I'm actually working towards both a bachelor of science in architecture and a master of city and regional planning.

Hi there, I'm 25, female, and I live in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles, right off of Wilshire (west of Korea Town). I'm originally from San Francisco though, and will be moving back to the Bay Area soon (thankfully). Anyway, I'm a full time student, currently performing a gentle balancing act of sixteen units plus a part time waitressing job. Not very glamourous. ;)

I'm a big fan of Simcity, and have played it since Simcity 2000. I also love the Sims, Tropico, and a few other simulation games. When it comes to games I'm pretty picky and require things that appeal to my intellect. My avatar is my actual picture.

My name is John. I turn 24 in October. Right now, I'm getting ready to start law school in August... by playing as much SC4 as possible while I still have the time. Over the summer, I've been living at home with my mom and grandma. This fall, I'll return to Urbana, IL.

When I'm not playing SC4 (or learing BAT, creating new terrains, downloading lots, et c.) I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend, who is still in Urbana, and following the news. As far as other games go, I'm a fan of RPG's and just wish there were more available for XBox.

Hi, I'm 16 and from Connecticut. I've enjoyed playing SimCity games for as long as I can remember- first with SC Classic, then onto SC2k, and, for some reason, skipped SC3k and now am playing SC4, the best out of all the SimCity games! Ispend my time (when not playing SC4) programming, photo editing, Boy Scouts, reading, and watching TV. I hope to become a machine drafter after highschool. I'll be there for when Maxis comes out with SC5, definitly. And I'll play SimCity games for the rest of my life.9.gif

My name is Matt, currently residing in Madison, WI.   I just retired after four years of teaching High School Spanish and History.  The reason?  I've been acting for several years now, and I'm going to move to Los Angeles to try to hit the big time! 10.gif
I've also been bartending all year, which is a lot of fun, and even better money than teaching.  As a side source of income, I also run a home-based business part-time.
You can read about my acting stuff and the business at my website: www.matthewlange.com

SC2000 was one of the first games I ever played on a PC, and I've been hooked by the concept ever since39.gif

Hi, I'm new here. I guess I should introduce myself.

My names James Moorehead, i'm England and live in the North East. I've just left school and am currently waiting to go onto 6th Form for my ALevels that would make my age 16.

I started playing the original SimCity on the Amiga over 7-8 Years ago and was terrible at it. I then refound the greatness that was SimCity on the Playstation with SimCity2000 and was once again terrible at it. I later moved onto Sim City 3000 and seeing as i'm a fan of patterns I was terrible at that aswel. When I heard about SimCity 4 I was first of all aprehensive and then I saw the screenshots and everything so I decided to get it. I was highly impressed this truely is a great sequel to a great series of games that I am terrible at :P

Anyway, as you may have have noticed i'm a fan of the SimCity series and the genre in general. Some of my favourites include Theme Park and Rollercoaster Tycoon. My favourite game genres include Action, Adventure, Point And Click and RPG. Some of my favourite games are Grand Theft Auto, Neverwinter Nights, Beneath a Steel Sky and the fabulous Monkey Island.

I am a fan of Middlesbrough Football Club in case anyone wanted to know.

I'm also a fan of Rock Music, especially Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Meat Loaf, Queen. I'm attempting to learn the guitar and have an Encore Electro-Acoustic. My favourite album is The Wall by Pink Floyd and running in at a close second is Bat Out Of Hell 2 by Meat Loaf.

Anyway I hope to fit in well in this community and hopefully improve my mayorial skills a bit aswel while i'm here.

Good Afternoon Simtropolites!

I've been loitering around here for a week or so and decided I better say hello - and thanks for all the quality info and stuff around here!

I'm Joe 90, I'm 23, I live in Wellington, New Zealand (now there's a nightmare for all you terraformists out there), I'm a transportation engineer (is that an unfair advantage?), and I can see no better way to clog up my brand-spanking new computer than with virtual metropoli.
I've been a regular SC2k player since it came out eons ago and I've only just bothered to upgrade to SC4. It's fair to say SC2k won't be getting much game time from now on! I also enjoy my sport. I play cricket and soccer, and complusively watch motorsport, but generally like anything with balls or an engine.

And that's about me. I look forward to future discussions with you all!

Joe 90

Well its about time I replied, since I have been active for a little while now.

My name is James, and I live in Murray Bridge, South Australia. Some people say its living out in the sticks, 9.gif. Well its not really, its a fairly average town made up of urban sprawl, so nothing exciting but its better then some towns I've lived in. Anyways im 17, turning 18 in two weeks and two days, 39.gif39.gif. I am currently studying a Diploma in Network Engineering and Administration at TAFE, and hopefully be getting a job in that area. But who knows, I could be the next guy who who serves you at McDonalds Drive-Thru. 17.gif Lastly I like playing simulation games like Simcity and RTC, and also first person games such as Unreal Tournament 2004 and Enemy Territory. 9.gif

Well you might have seen the few lots I've posted on the STEX. Not the best, but I'm still learning (isn't everybody).

Personal information: My name is Steven and I'm a 19 yr old college student out of Clarksville, Tn. I'll probably get a physics major, with astronomy minor. I'm very eclectic, and random sometimes, switching from thing to thing alot (could be good or not). I think I might want to recreate the town. I am also working on a new region called Lithium County.

I have no relationship, no job, I have two cats, and my dad is a single parent. It's the simple life.

I first played the early 2000 on the old comps in middle school.
I first owned a copy of SimCity when my uncle gave me his SimCity2000 for the Playstation. I got SimCity3000 when it first came out, and of course I have 4. I also play other various simulation games and games on the PS2 (I await GTA San Andreas this fall).

Just in case you were wondering what the name means [riffsyphon1024], just think about guitar playing.

I told you I was eclectic.

I'm 29 and I live in Florida. I hate my job and I just bought a house. I went to UF, go Gators! I like to snowboard and I play guitar. I regret selling my 77 VW van a few years ago and I'll probably get another one someday. I drink when I am sad to wash away the pain and I drink when I am happy to celebrate. And when there is nothing going on at all I drink to make something happen.

Wow, another Georgia forumer and in my area too. I don't live that far away from Southern Poly, about 6 or 7 miles north, and I don't go to GA Tech, but that's a nice area. As for Macon, I've been through there once, but that was almost ten years ago, before I moved to GA.

N-E-Ways, I'm 19 years old, living in Kennesaw, Georgia (about 20 mi. NW of Atlanta) I just graduated from high school in May, I just started working at a Ramada hotel a few days ago, and plan on joining the military (probably the Air Force or Navy) within a year.

My first sim game was SC2K and I sucked miserably at that. I was better at SC3KU, in which I reached my best of 550K. I know thats nothing much to brag about compared to some of you guys, but thats mine and no one can touch it. I'm lovin' SC4 right now and hoping they come out with a fifth game.29.gif
