West Lattica is no longer the star child of Davidson County as its population saw a slight decline, the first in the history of that city. Traffic pileups have now become a daily matter for downtown. DOT is currently looking into options that will help ease traffic congestion on the south side of the city. A small private university is considering establishing a campus in the rural area.
