Hey everyone! 

I'm Katie (as if you couldn't tell by my forum name) and my husband & I are currently expecting our first baby (a boy) - any day now!  I'm a stay-at-home-mom (or will be, soon) and SC4 has kept my afternoons from getting boring lately.  Other than gestating, I ride and show horses, read quite a bit, and fancy myself to be the next Martha Stewart.

Oh, I'm also 22 and live in a small town in KY.

Hi everyone.  I'm pretty new here, having found the site last month while looking for the NAM.  I bought SC4 late last year (since it was only $20), but quickly got frustrated at the near-constant crashes to my desktop, so I shelved it until just recently.  After clearing up a good amount of memory and reading some online faqs, I'm back to give it another go.  I'm still learning how to get a good, big city going, but I can consistently get a population of 40k+ until things start going south.

As for me, I'm an aspiring IT geek (recently got my A+ certification), and am more of a lurker than a talker on forums, but I will occasionally throw in my two cents.  Also, I'll be upfront about this, I probably won't ever be contributing to any mods.  I do not have the time or talent to do so presently.

Hi ya'll!  I'm a newbie to SC4 but I've been a fan of Sims for a long, long time - back in the days of DOS!  

I must admit ya'll provide a ton of info, but all this Gmax,BAT, LE, Modd, Data Gen and etc is just plain mind bogglin!  I feel like I am chasing the three stooges around - who is supposed to be downloaded to what program file and viola!  Wait, where did it go????  wwwaaaaaaa !   Somebody send the Waaambulance for me ........   (sniff, sniff I am so confused .... ) 

I'll be the one hangin' out the winder of the omnibus ride hollerin "help me " cause I have done drove my ride off in the ditch deep into the weeds (i.e. for you non-southerners it means I had crash and burn, nuclear melt down ....murphy's laws tend to rule since I have a bad case of terminal bad luck!) - LOL!

Welcome, redlinefever. Well, I haven't much knowledge of all these modding programs either, but I'm sure you'll eventually find your way through them by reading the threads in the "Custom Content" section. Good luck!

Salutations to all! I have been a long time lurker, about 4 years now. I have never really had a whole lot of time to sit down and play the game until about two weeks ago. I must say it is very addicting. I am looking forward to buying Societies, if it is half addicting as SC4 then I won't have time for anything else.

Hey all...I'm a 32 year old male that has been playing simcity since the begining of time...lol. I play it on and off and it's been about a year or 2+ since I played it last. Having bought the STEX version 1 CD/DVD when it came out I wanted to check the site again to see if it was still up and running. Sad thing is I have to relearn everything about simcity4 since it's been such a long time. I also need to reinstall all the stuff. Anyway, just wanted to say "hi". Looks like a lot of new toys to play with.

This site has opened up an entirely new world for me in sc4 - thanks to everyone!

I'm 25 with two happy, healthy, and beautiful ladies in my life. We're moving back to Louisiana (home) soon as there are few jobs in North Central Florida (not that Louisiana is expanding at breakneck speed, but it's home).

I've played every version of Simcity and vividly remember when it was basically dirt, three different box colors, and a road. How times have changed!

STEX has made sc4 fun for me again. I was basically burnt out on it, after creating city after city. New buildings, new props, etc. has made it fun all over again. Again, thanks!

I'm about to go through the tutorial soon, and hopefully be posting some worthwhile files in the future. Hope you enjoy mine as much as I've enjoyed yours!

My name is Joe, and i am a 16 (almost 17) year old student. i live in florida, right between daytona and west palm beach. i have many computer simulated games including the sims complete collection, the sims for ps2, the sims 2 for ps2, the sims 2 deluxe, pets, and bon voyage for pc, sc3000, and finally sc4 deluxe...wooo...thats a lot. i really enjoy playing these games, and hope to showcase all my creations. so yea. bedebedebedebe thats all folks...dadadadadadadada!

I first saw my friend play SC2 when I was 12; been hooked ever since.

SC4 has been quite a challenge for me; I've had the game for 3 years, but I'm just starting to get the hang of it; ST is a BIG help.

Currently thinking about a CJ; I think I'm ready for it; stay tuned
