100 years ago, Robert Johnson took a loan with security in his ranch and this was the beginning of what is today, R. Johnson Holding. R Johnson WorkWear was operational from 1st of July 1940. Today the holding company is behind: R. Johnson WorkWear, R. Johnson SunWear, R.J. Caribbean Fashion Design, HIQUEA Ltd furniture, HIQUEA Fibers, R. Johnson Leather, HIQUEA Wood, HIQUEA Synthetic Material and HIQUEA’s three logging camps.

The construction of Bounty Islands first airport finished near the end of January. Located between the State Uranium Mine and Gutiérrez Family Corn Plantation. A new road was build, starting from Plantation Route, from there turning left and continuing along the airport terminal. Named Pilot Fernández Road. 

Pilot Fernández Road is named after Captain Mikel Fernández, the first pilot hired by Bounty Air.

To reduce the risk of not being able to find a suitable workforce, for the new gold mine, due to lack of housing possibilities. Nvidia funded a cluster of cheap working-class houses at the new Sullivan Ring Road.

Moria Johnson Family, Mar. 2041 

Moria Johnson was born in September 1984, the daughter of Yelena and José Johnson. Spending her first years in New Village and later Moria Tower, an apartment building in south-west part of Cepero Town, her parents named after her. After the death of her farther she moved to a house on Cattle Road with her mother, where she finished a business degree at Bounty City University. Just 25 years old, she became the general manager of R. Johnson Furniture. In 2021 she got a son Charles with an Italian man. In 2024 her mother Yelena retired and left R. Johnson Holdings in her hands. Her mother died in the beginning of 2027. Effective from January 2030 Moria Johnson split the company in two. R Johnson Holdings with everything related to clothing and fashion, headed by herself. HIQUEA Ltd with the wood and furniture business, led by Yannick Van Dijk. Of course, the family had all shares in both companies. In 2035 Charles Johnson was admitted to Bounty City University, but only studied for two semesters. The band he was drumming in, got some success and he left his studies. Moria and Charles live in a large apartment building, Moria turned into a private house in early 2038, located in the center of Lucia Village. Charles girlfriend 19 years old Verónica also spend most nights with them. Although on paper, she still lives with her parents Alice and Peter Klein, in a mansion at Ruben Ruiz Waterfront.

Moria Johnson was not satisfied with the many problems HIQUEA Ltd ran into during the transition from a strictly wood-based furniture brand, to a more complex company with production of plant fibers, high quality wood, synthetic textiles, heat resistant thermo-polyvinyl, Cast PVC and the two furniture lines wood and plastic. She fired the president of HIQUEA ltd. Yannick Van Dijk and replaced him with 52 years old George White, previously head of The Export Department, with many good contacts in local politics as well as overseas.

A low pressure system coming in from the Gulf of Mexico have developed into the destructive tornado ”Beatriz”. The storms have hit the western almost uninhabited Islands. It is too early to say if it will reach the three highly populated Islands.

The original tornado ”Beatriz” did not make landfall on the three highly populated Islands. But new low pressure system keep coming from the Gulf. With heavy rain and thunderstorms. In late April lightning hit a fuel depot at Bounty Airport, the Airport is still burning.

Myrthe Sullivan Family, July 2041

Myrthe Sullivan the daughter of Shana and Lucas Sullivan, granddaughter of Sister Sullivan, was born in April 1985. The family lived at South Cepero Road, Lucia Village. Myrthe the oldest of three siblings, with little sister Aitana born in 1989 and little brother Cristobal from 2002. The family moved to South Jungle Tower and Myrthe took her 2^nd level diploma at President Williams School. As her farther was a drunk and her mother got weaker and weaker, Myrthe was a big part of the younger children’s upbringing. Myrthe left her parent’s home in 2004, moving to the city in a small but desirable apartment at the fashionable Shack Village Road. She met French Victor Dubois, who moved into her apartment in 2010. Myrthe's mother Shana Sullivan died in 2016. Myrthe and Victor moved around a bit and ended in an apartment on Sugar Square, where they married and she gave birth to Carl S. Dubois in 2020 and Luca S. Dubois in 2022, after which the family moved to a larger apartment in Fenna Tower. In the early 2030’s Victor Dubois got involved with Loyal to Familia, but was able to leave in good standing. The children both attended classes at President Williams School. In the late 2030 Victor Dubois got a position in Arms Gallery, a gun store at Cepero Department Store. After years at tobacco plantations, Myrthe tried different jobs in the late 2030’s, first bus driver, then factory worker at the brewery and from 2039 she got the trusted position as project manager at Jørgen Jensen Agricultural Park, where she still work. Victor Dubois left the gun store, now working at SPF coconut depot in the jungle. The family lives in a classic style apartment at Piotrowski Street, Lucia Village. The two sons both finished their 2^nd level education, they are now 20 and 18 years old, still staying in the parents’ home. Carl dates 20 years old Ana, the daughter of Dutch TV chef and owner of restaurant “Het Wilde Varken”, Tess Koning. Luca dates 18 years old Charlotte, a French immigrant who recently arrived to the Islands.

Despite hard working conditions, with many delays due to bad weather creating high waves, finally the new Caribbean Sea Power Zone was ready.

A high pressure from the equator has reestablished the nice weather Bounty Islands are usually known for. The rain season was unusually long and gruel this time. Flooding of D’Angelo Power resulted in an explosion, the powerplant took a lot of damage and was demolished. Bounty Airport and many other buildings are still burning, 100’s of families is without power. Two firefighters were killed, another 13 people died after landslides or drowned. The total material damage is yet unknown, but estimated to several 10's of thousands coins, not to mention the cost of lost production from fires, power cuts and the damage done to the tourist business.

Ryuji Taka, December 2041

Ryuji Taka was born in March 2016, at the family’s house at Sugar Road, Saint Mary's District. The son of Svetlana and Carlos Taka and grandson of Alexandra Taka. Ryuji never knew his older sister, who died the year he was born. The family economy declined and he spend his early childhood in a cheap apartment in Bounty Chinatown. The family continued to live in different apartment of varying quality in Saint Mary's District throughout his childhood and teenage years. He realized he was homosexual when he was 15 – 16 years old, but was too shy to look for love. In 2034 he told his mom, but was afraid to tell his dad. So far Ryuji’s first and only lover is 7 years older Oliver Evans, a British born truck driver, he met in 2038. They moved together in Evan’s classic style apartment at South Cepero Road, Miner’s Village. Ryuji’s came out of the closet and to his surprise, his father was very supportive. Oliver Evans was working at S/L Shipping’s D'Angelo Road depot, and was able to find a job for his new partner in the company, although it was at the Cepero Main depot. Recently Oliver, after many years in the truck, chose to try something new, currently working at Bounty Cigar's Limited tobacco plantation at Smirnow Road. The couple moved from Miners Road to a similar size and style apartment, next to the plantation in the outskirts of Lucia Village.

100 years ago, the three apartment buildings at Long Connecter Road were built by Cepero Main Construction. Back then a rural area, located east of the city. All the original inhabitants were working with agricultural production.

Today about 50% work in agriculture, but we also got some in the tourist industry, a factory worker, a store employee, a bus driver and a 18 years old unemployed man, just finishing his 2^nd level education diploma.

The fire at Bounty Airport was extinguished, but some reconstruction remain, before the first areophane can arrive in the beginning of August.

Nvidia ElTioBit supply stock is now somewhat stable and production have begun, the first 17.500 unit with an export value of approx. 5.872 coins is ready for pickup.

Defense minister and leader of The Workers Front, Juan Navarro, died 75 years old. Mr. Navarro was a very prominent figure in Bounty politics, part of the government the latest 36 years. He was president from 2010-2020, foreign minister from 2006-2010, again from 2020-2030 and defense minister from 2030 to his death. He will be replaced by Russian born Dmitry Kowalczyk, a somewhat untraditional socialist, highly educated, very religious, but also extremely devoted to the task of lifting the quality of life for the common working class laborer, the poorest children and elderly.

Tami Taka died 76 years old. She was the daughter of Montserrat and Heinrich Taka. Tami never married and will leave behind, only her half brother Haruto and his children. But the one who will morn her death the most is without doubts Adrián Kamiński, who spend a large part of his childhood with her.  

Mikail Ahmed, the son of Ibrahim and Martina Ahmed, died 71 years old. Mikail will leave behind his son Kaamran, daughter in law Alicja and his grandson Talal. Also, 84 years old Dolores Sullivan will morn her friend, who spend his last two years in her house.

Since early 2041, Mikail went through scans and other examination at Cepero North Hospital, complaining about strong headache and dizziness. They did not find anything and the official cause of death was a normal influenza after a long hard rain season.

Kaamran Ahmed Family, Maj 2042

Kaamran Ahmed was born in an apartment on Old Banana Road, Mountain Village in August 1990. The son of Heike and Mikail Ahmed. He spent all his childhood living in Mountain Village. Kaamran graduated from President Smirnov’s School in 2012, 21 years old. In 2015, he got his first job, working at People's Market on South Coast Road. Kaamran left his parents home and found a small apartment in Ruiz Tower on Cattle Road. Kaamran gave up on a regular job in 2016, and started as a “soldier” at the Familia’s Shipyard. Moving into a charming colonial style country house in Monica Roux Residential Area, with his partner former prostitute Alicja. The couple married and Alicja gave birth to their son Talal Ahmed in March 2020. For security reasons Kaamran decided to move the family out of the city, to an apartment in Mountain Village. Another son, Zakaria was born in November 2027 and the family soon moved to a larger better apartment at Plateau Village Square. Sadly, Zakaria died from a tropical fever, in 2031. Alicja was transferred from the Familia’s involvement in Fungus Town, to road smuggling operations. Kaamran’s mother died in 2036. Kaamran moved up the ranks in the organization and the Familia installed the family at the penthouse apartment in President Purple Villa in the late 30’s. Kaamran lost his father last month.

While studying at President Smirnov’s School Talal Ahmed met two years older exchange student Olivia Onley from Kelso, southern Scotland. Talal left school after taking his 2^nd level exams, while Olivia continued at Bounty University. Talal got a job at Ramos Construction and rented a small apartment in Ruiz Tower, living with Olivia from early 2039. Today Olivia Onley is a doctor at Bounty City Hospital and the couple lives in a modern mansion at Coconut Road, Saint Mary’s District. So far, they haven’t thought about getting children.

Ben Sánchez, Aug. 2042

Ben Sánchez is the son of Aitana and Rafael Sánchez, third generation after Sister Sullivan, the now deceased leader of “the Ordre”, council member and founder of Sullivan Oil. Ben was born April 2010, in his mother’s apartment at Banana Road, Mountain village. Four years later he got younger sister Zoe, but she died just two years old from diphtheria. In 2022, Ben got little sister Emilia Sánchez, although he is 12 years older, he loved the baby a lot and they are still very close today. Ben got his 2^nd level diploma from President Smirnov’s School in 2024, after which he took small children’s jobs, delivering newspapers and sorting bottles at the market. From his late teens, he dated beautiful former class mate Nora Ramos, in 2031 they moved together in her house at Cepero Town North. Nora got an interesting job at the Museum of Original Culture, Ben worked in the storeroom at S/L Cepero North. Nora got pregnant and the family moved to a large modern apartment at 7^th floor in Cepero Town Complex. At this point they were both promoted at their respective jobs and the family economy was good. Nora gave birth to their daughter Clair in October 2036. A few months later Ben’s mother introduced him to Robert Jones, the manager of Cepero Treatment Systems. Ben was offered a hard but very well-paid job at Cepero Sewer Treatment, taking a 70% wage increase. The family still live at the apartment in Cepero Town Complex.

The leader of The Bounty Conservative Álvaro Díaz died, just 65 years old. Although Mr. Díaz was member of the opposition since the latest vote, he will me remembered as an important political figure. Traffic and Logistics Minister from 2020 to 2030, Environment and Nature Minister from 2030 to 2040. A former plantation worker from Spain, he was the one to found The Bounty Conservative back in 2005. Possible his most notable political achievement, was the 20 years plan, leading to the construction of Bounty Air and the increased focus on tourism, as an eco-friendly alternative to the polluting industries.      

Álvaro Díaz was replaced by Stefan Klein, a former quality control assistant at Bounty Bay Rum. Stefan Klein is 26 years old and uneducated. Known from his engagement in Young & Conservativ. Currently dating photo model Verónica Bauer, of the important Edwards family with roots in France and United Kingdom.

Every aspect from the mid 30’s recession, is definitely over. The national economy is booming, the industrial production is at its all-time high and companies have a hard time filling empty job positions. This have led to pressure on salaries and political pressure to lift social welfare and improve on job quality. As a result, we see the purchasing power of many families increases with up to 14%, the working hours have been reduced and families with children have got a reduced tax bill.    

Nora Morel, sommelier at the new Gastronomy D'Angelo restaurant, took a 10% wage increase, since the restaurant opened, just a few months ago. Despite her higher income, she still lives in one of Nvidia's cheap working-class houses at Sullivan Ring Road. As the housing marked is also under pressure, after fires have burned down some homes.

Jan Hartmann, the husband of Mona Hartmann and farther of Sergio Hartmann died 64 years old. Jan was also the cousin of Dorthea Hartmann’s husband Uwe Hartmann. For 12 years Jan Hartmann was part of the helicopter crew in the fire squad at Industry Rescue, Cattle Road District. Diagnosed with cancer he was forced to retire in 2039.

Ronnie Sullivan Family, December 2042

Ronnie Sullivan’s mother Dolores Sullivan, retired from Sullivan Oil in January, at her 84 years birthday. Since then, 56 years old Ronnie Sullivan have been the chairman of the company. Cristina Sullivan also quit her job, entering the board of directors.

Ronnie Sullivan was born March 1986 in a small working-class apartment on Cepero Main. Educated at President Williams School. He has been leading the east jungle oil operation, from a very young age. His wife Cristina Sullivan moved in with him in the late 2000’s, living together in his mother’s large 3 story house at Smirnov Road, Lucia Village. Ronnie lost his father Alexandre Martin in 2007. Cristina graduated from Bounty City University and in 2010 Ronnie and Christina left his mother’s home, settling in their own apartment a few streets away at South Cepero Road, next to Cepero Park and Cepero Department Store. The couple married in 2020 and Cristina gave birth to their daughter Vera in July 2022. The family moved to a similar apartment, further south in Plain Hamlet. In August 2028 the family was extended with their son Stephen. In 2030 they moved again, this time to a large apartment in South Jungle Tower. At that point Cristina worked in S/L Trucks, administrating the truck operations in South District. Taking over the company, Ronnie Sullivan bought South Jungle Tower, using the upper half as a private residence, turning the lower part into Sullivan Oil company headquarters. Today 20 years old Vera, got her 2^nd level diploma two years ago, still living with her parents. 14 years old Stephen is a clever child, he already finished 2^nd level education. His parents, especially Cristina who went to university herself, hopes he will continue his education, maybe even abroad.

The modern lifestyle and growing wealth of Bounty Islands population, have led to obesity especially among the younger part of the population. As a result, a group of doctors and nutrition experts advised the government to invest in trainings centers and sports facilities. Today a large facility opened its doors at Coconut Road, Saint Mary’s District, with a variety of different sports and training facilities. United under the Bounty Sports Association (BSA) umbrella.

Svetlana Taka died 69 years old. Svetlana Semenov was born 1974 in the small town of Syasstroy in the Soviet Union, about 140 km from what was then Leningrad (Saint Petersburg). After the collapse of USSR she moved to Bounty Islands in 1993, where she fell in love with Carlos Taka while working together at movie theater Cine De Loro at Cattle Road. Svetlana lost her two years old daughter in 2016, she will leave behind her husband and son.

Gafur Ahmed, Maj 2043

Gafur Ahmed was born on Cepero Main, November 1989. The son of plantation workers Jeanne and Majed Ahmed. He spent his first year in the apartment where he was born, later the family moved to New Village, Cepero Town where he spent most of his childhood. Gafur graduated from President Williams in 2007. He left his parents’ home in 2010 to live with Beatriz Vázquez, from a middle-class immigrant family. The couple moved to a cheap apartment at Plantation Route, at the outskirts of D'Angelo village. Both professional soldiers. Beatriz gave birth to their daughter Zuma. Gafur left the military, taking at job at the local rescue center and the family bought a house at D'Angelo Main Road. Sadly, their only child died from bird flu in 2014. They both lost their mothers in 2032. Gafur lost his father Majed Ahmed in November 2037, Beatriz lost her father the year before. The couple still lives in the house at D'Angelo Main Road, between D'Angelo Grocery and D'Angelo Fire Station.

It was a surprise to everyone, when Radio South R2 announced in the 6 a clock morning news on August the 5^th, that a large bomb had exploded at one of the offshore windmills at the Inland Sea. There are no organized terror groups at Bounty Islands. It turned out to be a young mentally ill man, from D’Angelo Island. The need for better psychiatric treatment and a modern Asylum, was again a top story in the news.

Aitana Sánchez was born in January 1989, the daughter of Shana and Lucas Sullivan, in her parent’s apartment on South Cepero Road, Lucia Village. Her father was a truck driver, her mother a plantation worker at Shubert Cigars. Aitana was the 2nd of three siblings, having an older sister Myrthe and a younger brother Cristobal. In 2002 her father bought a bar and an old three-story apartment building at Cepero Main Waterfront, where she spent her teenage years. Aitana graduated from President Williams in 2007, 18 years old, after which she left her parents home. She met Rafael Sánchez, got pregnant with their son Ben, they married and she gave birth in April 2010. The family grew further in 2014 with daughter Zoe, but she died already in 2016. In 2022 they had another daughter Emilia. Ben left the family in 2031, Emilia last year. The family have lived in the old country house at Old Banana Road for decades now, most of the time Rafael being the ”house wife” as Aitana is way to distracted for that kind of thing. Since 2029 Aitana have been a respected painter and author, in the intellectual circles of the city. Known for her almost surreal paintings and her rather provocative historical novels, mainly centered around people from Bounty history. Most famous “Stephani” about famous actress Stephania Potalivo.

The preservation committee made its 4^th memorandum, still led by Council member María Rinaldi, the now 61 years old politician, have married again to artist Gabriele Rinaldi, hence another surname change (previously Harris/Leone). This time to declare just one building national treasure:

The Coffee Plantation at Coffee Road (Preservation category P1)

We know from records found in the archives at the Governor Mansion, that the coffee plantation at Coffee Road, planted the first seeds in the spring of 1887, being without contest, the oldest still existing agricultural production building in Bounty City. Due to constant and clever maintenance from shifting owners, most of the original structure still stand. Although, as the building have been in use, all the interior and the room separations have been replaced, over the building almost 150 years lifetime.

 

Besides María Rinaldi, the committee was composed of: Professor in History Ángel Ruiz, Riccardo Santoro from University Research Laboratory. Architect Natlia Krawczyk from Bonner Construction and Journalist Adam Mercier from Radio North. Besides María Rinaldi, Mr. Mercier is the only remaining member from the last committee meeting.
