Hi All

My city doesnt grow anymore, i dont know why.
I know.. the city is not a city that you say wow that looks good/amazing! im working on it, im doing my best after a long long time.
Didnt play this game for a few years but i started again so i need to make steps.

Residential started all good, Low Wealth/Medium-Wealth but thats it.
The Highrise part doesnt grow, the commercial part is growing but not so fast.

Can someone please give some tips/advice?

Well, as the game itself would tell you (Neil Fairbanks - City Planner) in the news ticker - you've got to build out before you build up!
Basically means that the best way to spur growth is to fill the city-tile as best you can.

Eventually you would also need to have neighboring cities that add to the population region-wide - this will spur growth even more

There is a trick I'm using when I have empty zones for a long time. Plant some trees in those empty zones to temporary increase the desirability. This will increase the probability of having something being upgraded/constructed at those zones and at their surroundings.

"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. When somebody offers to do a favor for free, like making a mod for SimCity 4, you shouldn't be overly critical of something generously given to you. In other words, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." - Twilight Sparkle after playing SimCity

"Being a mayor or a content creator for SimCity 4 is a heavy responsibility, Patrick. Each city and each custom content is like a child, and must be treated as such." - SpongeBob Squarepants after playing SimCity

"The wisest men follow their own direction." - Euripides

Hi, growing highrise ? Two cities in Mayon, Providence and Hartford are mostly grown. Mont Real, Fort Grayon and Mayon City - Bay are most plopable.l Ploppable most require to have a high education level and as much residential as posible, or abandonement will occure. Growable I encountered  a mix of industrial, transport and commercial, growable highrise will take off.  Mont Real wich lay´s in a natural green back area of Mayon province I didn´t have resedential or industrial as much resources, so high education, technology and commercial needs should help ? Commute time relatively maybe too much, yet excelent freeway system ? Parks and green, little but suffecient. Growable, industry as plopable gives a difference if supplied, transport and a fully build and compact as out map as concluded. Harbours and airports and fully developed neighbour tiles indeed too help !

    1) Show your demand bars, are you sure you just don't have enough jobs/right type of jobs?

    2) Are neighbor connections to real cities?  Add a city next to it in the region and it will help.

3)I don't see any evidence of the NAM being installed, meaning the shortest route now for the res area is all on the avenue bridge.  Might have congestion problems.  Make sure you have the NAM

    4) Add some more mass transit to help them get to the monorail station, bus, GLR, etc.  Your monorail station is in a terrible spot right now.

    5) Add education stuff

    6)add parks.
