Hi there, I am really struggling to find good residential lots and/or sets. My plugins folder has a lot of high Res stuff like skyscrapers, but im now beginning to look at more detailed smaller lots for some nice agricultural cities/towns.

Any Suggestions?

Depends on what you want to build: for middle and high class dwellings, Mattb325 has a huge collection of mid-century suburban catalog houses and some nice and flexible mid-rises; if you want low class residentials the sources are more sparse, but you could get some mid-rises from the polish community, that is moving their files here. For low class small houses, there are some nice ones included on the Dutch Housing Project, but get prepared for some long dependency lists there. Lastly, if it matches your style, there are several packs of Latin American and Southeast Asian slums available, but they aren't that handy to find on just one link.

    Hi Jackspital,

Although I'm far from an expert at the ins and outs of custom content, here's a few sets by @SimCoug which I know of:

Or in a completely contrasting style, some other worthy mentions might be these sets by gascooker:

Just since I noticed you're from this part of the world. *;)

In addition to these and what @matias93 suggested, you may also find some useful possibilities from a small residentials LEX Power Search. Some may rely on a pack of released models, with each housing upload including one or multiple growable lots. So as usual, remember to also check for any dependencies they require.

    Hi @Jackspital I have question.

Do you want European/English designs or American/Canadian style designs?

If you want European than click the links RSC posted, if you want North American then go for SimGoober's Residentials

Haha, thanks for this @Cyclone Boom. Yeah I've been looking for a few UK sets honestly.*:ohyes:

Thanks also, @DavidDHetzel for me I generally like a mix from different designs, just like it that way so i have a small part of different regions.

This is a trick I saw from @CorinaMarie

Replace 'R$' for the thing/ word you are searching for.

Here at ST the local site search is currently far from ideal, with Google being a more consistently reliable means of finding specific content. In the next major site update, there's scope for upgrade the capability to Elasticsearch as I previously explained here, promising much improved functionality. As it stands, this upgrade has been indefinitely delayed due to incompatibility issues with a few site plugins. But once those are sorted out, Dirk plans to implement this which should help considerably.

With the Google advanced queries, I imagine they'll still be of great benefit in complementing an improved local search engine. There are a few other tricks which can be used to find certain items, such as exact matching terms (by enclosing them in quotes). Also this form might be a useful reference for additional fine-tuning.
