Idea:

Put the usual timed props on 2/3rds of the parking, but all the cars in front of the Enterprise should be untimed so it look like they have a bunch of cars ready for rental.

So I don't know what happened for sure but I lost the plaza I showed yesterday, possibly from file corruption.

Because of this I've decided to take a new approach as inspired by @pclark06 by doing a modular approach. The difference will be that these buildings will fit on either a 1x2 or 2x2 lot and will be growable lots. I don't plan to add details (such as parking spaces) to the lot as the buildings in theory have been designed to take the majority of the 1x2 or 2x2 space. I may do these in batches just like pclark06 is doing, so the occasional break from this project to pursue other things may happen. I will likely make a plaza from these down the road using props. 

Feel free to leave suggestions as for what brands should be pursued. My only request is that they are a brand found in shopping center next to a Walmart.

I'd like to see a tutoring place like a Mathnasium or something, that functions as an Elementary school. Only reason because I can't really make the logo well on 3DSMax and I figure your process is better, and it would look better with your set.

I made a list of stores that Id like to see in a set like this, because I wanted to use the simgoober Plop-a-shop pack buildings and change them to other brands (changing textures where appropriate as well, of course). To be honest, I don't know if I'll ever have the time to do it because I work like 60 hours a week and have 2 little ones at home under the age of 5.

@Evanjs Some of those won't be done such as Subway. There's already a Subway in my Walmart supercenter. Though you aren't wrong about them having a second location outside of Walmart.

I felt that Shoe Dept and Rent A Center shouldn't be a full on 2x2 so I added a shop in with them.

Awesome! It looks good! Yeah, KingLeno did one for Cities Skylines for his own modular stuff and I know they have them in Walmart plazas. I thought it'd be a cool concept to have a tutoring franchise in the game.

I think Maybe a Dept. Store would look Nices also like a TJMaxx and Homegoods, or Bealls, or Goodys/Peebles, or JCpennys  or Belks. Maybe even a Pet Store like Pet Valu, or PetSmart, Petland or Petco

@ericexp Many of those were already on my radar, but some of those I've never heard of before. Some like Marshall's and Dunham's wouldn't fit in with this design because they should take more than a 2x2 space. Others are on the upscale side which would ideally be more likely for a more modern designed plaza. 

@Evanjs That may or may not happen. I've been considering it for a bit.

Right now I'm moving on to a new project of a recycle of my smaller Walmart with replacement brands. For a hint of what two major brands will go in here, look around Erie, PA.

Some of those are probably regional. I know Disc Replay/Mega Replay is one of them. It is a chain of stores that buy and sell used electronics and media. They only opened here in Michigan a couple of years ago, but they have become very popular. 

I was going to  include Radio Shack in the list, but since they aren't really around anymore, I didn't think you would do one ( I see that you did anyway lol). I worked at RS for 12 years, so its a pretty significant part of my life. I drive past closed stores all the time with sadness...
