@TimTheTerrible[NL] Did not notice that. But indeed I got a message yesterday concerning some of the props from catenary replacer but I cant see a difference.

Btw. CO changed the look of the vanilla stadion so that the building disappears on save games leaving just the paths.

I've successfully load one of three my most recent Seattle saves with 100 mods.  It makes some weird noises right before finishing the load though...

Fun times, lol

You mean that rapid clicking sound? I get that before I enter the main menu and also during the loading process (shortly before the map shows). At first I thought my hard drive was toast, but after I found out that the sound's volume is tied to the system volume settings, I figured it's just some random weirdness coming from the game.

Yeah, that's the sound.  I've been looking around for a fire to see if AutomaticBulldozer v2 works.  Also, the West Seattle Freeway is backed up from West Seattle to I-5... oh lord.

EDIT: AutomaticBulldozer v2 works, found my fire.

Check over on Reddit for a list of broken mods that you'll need to unsub to get things working.

I did unsub them, but the issue still persists, the loading screen is not looking the way it should(normally it should show pictures, but it shows a black screen)and loading gets stuck after a bit

Double check if you unsubbed mods, assets and themes. Restart PC. Then try adding working mods. I did it one by one.

No success for me either: I followed Roadman's guide on Reddit, but the game still crashes during map load :(
Very annoying because it makes properly debugging/testing my mods pretty much impossible: so hopefully the patches that I did upload today will also work in a modded city (haven't been able to try it out, but as local copies with disabled Workshop both my mods seem to work fine again).

Have my game up and running with roughly 100 mods. Savegame loads fine.

Only the stadium and the cargohub was corrupted. a part of the building was missing. Replacing the hubs worked fine.

I've loaded the following 100 mods together to test compatibility since BloodyPenguin updated 81 Tiles.  I did this into one of three of my recent Seattle saves from Nov 27th.  Takes me about 10 minutes to complete loading.

I still need to unsub from Shroomblaze's semi-trucks as that looks like to be the problem of crazy vehicles roaming about.

  3. Decal Hover Area

  5. Improved Assets Panel (Even though it doesn't work officially)

  6. No Questions Asked

  7. Chirpy Exterminator

Shroomblaze's semi-trucks use the default trailers if I remember correctly, that might what's causing the issue.

I've shutdown IPT since there is some lingering incompatibility with TLM.

I'm error-free now as Ultimate Eyecandy is updated.  Working on removing the semitrucks for now, RIP.

Gawd daymn I'm awesome!

Literally all I did was Ctrl-Shift-B once to recompile the .dll-file. Oh, and updating the version number, lol.

All in all it appears to have been a much smoother update than the previous episode. Asset creators and modders have pulled out all the stops to get things back on line asap. They should be congratulated for their sterling work. Meanwhile I spent the past day playing around vanilla style with the content in order to get a feel for things. The crazy over the top rants being posted by the keyboard warriors regarding the apocalyptic disaster caused by the new dlc and free update (oh the irony) is reaching the level of a Trumplethinskin Twitter storm.

Is it me or are the vanilla trees looking low-res again like when snowfall was launched?

Not sure about that but I have some flickering or brightness problem at a very specific distance, seems like far away but not so far it shows the lod, for example on the vanilla eiffel tower the trees flicker from a certain distance, but for regular trees they are really bright sometimes.

Oh yea I got the flickering too as well some other players on reddit (nvm I missed your comment). Even when laucnhed with -noWorkshop/-disableMods it still persists.

Here's a pic of a default tree in asset editor. Has it alwasy been like that or have I been using custom trees too long? :P

Dynamic Resolution has a new version for the update: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=809964107

Unfortunately the Shift+F12 high res screenshots are still screwed up as each pixel is just 4x4 so there is no advantage for that.

If you use dynamic resolution for screenshots only, might as well not use the mod and just use Shift+F12 (it saves it to the cities appdata folder) and then downscale.

Still no success for me (crash to desktop at various stages of the loading process with the same config, so it seems the whole game is screwed since the update), so I'm currently re-installing the game as a last-ditch effort. Hopefully this will allow me to finally reboot my city again, because if not, I'll probably continue working on my mods but stop playing the game itself: it'll be the fourth time many 100's of hours invested in a city are wiped in one felt swoop, and I don't have the motivation to restart all over again for a fifth time. So fingers crossed...

Well, re-installing seemed to do the trick: I managed to load my city again! \o/
And with a minimum of errors, just three in total: one from RICO (commercial provides jobs but no jobs are set) which seems to have no impact (maybe because I had to switch from the original one to his test version), a couple of "Duplicate preFab name" messages (probably caused by local assets) and one "Array index is out of range" message (afaik. a rather common one). And it seems that for some reason the issues I had with TM:President Edition (no hearses/garbage trucks spawning) have been resolved as well.

Now that all is well again, I reckon it's bug-fixing time...

The modder who created the Loading Screen Mod temporarily disabled the mod so that it could be repaired. It is unclear how long it would be down for though. Also, the multi-track station enabler has not yet been updated and therefore does not work with natural disasters.

So this new DLC means that forest fires are just a base game feature now, as in, disasters disabled or not, they will always happen, and happen a LOT to boot? That's just great....
