I really like the Flow Reversal at Spaghetti Junction, something just clicks with that!

Takingyouthere: In the end I went with an image I call Portrait of a Chemical Plant which is probably my best photoshopping effort to date. (or is one of the others better?)

Actually I like the 'Le Blueprints'-filter much more. It's simple not as noisy and confusing like the 'Portrait of a Chemical Plant'. Sometimes less is more.

Hope you don't mind a few rather old images of mine.

These are some of the most photoshopped images I've ever done for a CJ, usually I just stick to subtle editing and tweaking of colors. My style usually emphasizes realism rather than the artistic nature of OP''s images.

@2b2gbi Are you kinding me? Those photo's are spectacular! I'm amazed at how realistic they look, definitely more than worth showing again.

Could you tell me which program you used to make them. I use a couple different image editing programs, one of which is great for doing the mundane stuff like stitching images together and another for making the more artistic image modifications but none of them good for doing the kinds things you've shown. Not that I could do that anyways, but it would be nice to at least add simple stuff like clouds or rain to a scene.

@RandyE Good eye! They are of a very similar style.

@DavidDHetzel Thanks for sharing, that gas station is pretty cool do you remember where you got it from?

@Takingyouthere, you the second person to comment about the gas station. It's the old Bobbo Sheetz station many a person has been trying to find. I kind of got it "under the table" from another member here, but if its ok i may upload it to STEX if permission can be granted.

Another from me, made it nearly two years ago as part of a Remembrance Day update for Perseus. I could do better today but I still really like this one.

I mostly use GIMP, which is basically a free, full-fledged image editing program in the vein of Photoshop. I have used Photoshop in the past but couldn't really justify the cost when the free alternative is good enough for me, even if it is a little less user-friendly.

If you want to know how to do anything specific shoot me a PM and I'll see if I can help you out.

Went with a normal image but it would be good to know if any of those effects were interesting.
