Don't know if your know focused on the stations, but if the trains are still on your plan, maybe the Siemens Desiro HC is interesting for you. Or a self created combination of double-decker and one-level cars :)

    While the focus is on indeed providing stations for MOM, Siemens RRX is in my to-do list, it will be done at some point 8)

    State of the Union

    So here's the list of projects i'm working on and their states:

    1. Stadler KISS

    Modeling is mostly done, will go under texturing.

    2. Stadler Glasgow A4

    Early works, the body is completed, I'm gonna add gears and wheels.

    3. Stadler Berlin S-Bahn

    Modeling is done, I will try to make it ready, by the release of MOM

    4. Modular ground MOM station(s)

    Main station is completed, released in MOM thread.

    5. 2x2 way elevated MOM station

    Station is completed, released in MOM thread.

    6. Grand Central

    The box is 4mx4m, it might give you some idea about the size. 

    I am planning it to be modular and release the rest of the modules in the following stages:

    Stage 1: Main station

    Stage 2: 2 lane Rail module

    Stage 3: 2 lane MOM module

    Stage 4: 2 way tram module 

    Stage 5: Tram+Bus end module

    HOWEVER, I need your help. I need a source or tutorial about modular stations, a simple Google research didn't show anything. I need to know, how to connect ped paths on different modules and snap modules next to each other. I appreciate all the help.

    I extended the terminal outside and I have mixed feelings about it. What do you think?

    Hey R3V0, I was wondering if you could model Toronto's Union Station? I've been waiting for it for so long, and it would be awesome to have a giant station like it in my city!

    It looks good. I need to think a bit further to say something specific. Modular ? Remodel it as its ? It has different cots from front and the end, so an elevated station the way it is, or ignore some parts ? Rescale it down, or keep dimensions ? 

    I also need more photos of the building, need to make a proper search

    I also need to make at least one modular station with sub buildings + ped paths fixed, so I can deliver Toronto Union as a proper and clean asset

Also, it would be awesome if you were to keep the dimensions, and model the new, revitalized station! That would be great! I'll make another post with the imgur album as soon as possible! :D

    Moar renders.

    I finished the separation and UV mapping. There will be 6 sub buildings (2x3, as west and east) as: 2 main building, 2 main terminal and 2 last terminal. 

    Grand central itself will sit somewhere 16k tris. You will add modular stations later on this number. 

    I'm also working on more project and one other which I will let you to choose (it's a vehicle)

    Well i've hit a snag: 

    I think I broke the game. It's disoriented and there's this texture problem. One side of the building is leviated the other side is sunk. There are no normal problems, center of gravity is slightly below the tracks and it's properly aligned ti fit within 16*8 size.

    Hmm, strange. I've had this problem before too, and I solved it somehow. In whatever you are using to make your models, try just rotating it more to the left? I genuinely don't have any idea as to how I could fix this. :P

    Didnt' work. The orientation axis is not even related to the center of geometry, i checked and it's not rotating centered of geometrical center.

    We're getting there. 

    I fixed the rotation problem, by adding a default cube and use it as reference point. Now, I have texture problem, which was exist before that. If anyone else has an idea, it's appreciated.

    Update: Fixed all issues right now. I will complete the rest and then will merge sections via subbuildings. I wanted to have 3 track in the central piece, where 2 tracks on each side are used for stops and the central 3rd one for transit, however catenaries make it look like stupid, so I will probably re model central platform to make it compatible with 2 tracks. 

    Also, I still wonder how pedestrian access will be provided between subbuildings. Boformer's tutorial doesn't mention, it only says "your main building must have all network access", it doesn't say how peds will pass from main buildings to sub buildings. 

    Does is use the idea of "ped connections must be within 1 cell" ? So will have to make ped connection in each sub building, then align them ?

    Didn't know you meant that. Another fix would be to use the Extra Station Tracks mod and use the Gravel - No Poles (with wires) track and make your own 4-track catenary inside the station.

    This is becoming the most annoying work I've done. 

    Textures are looking good in blender, but they are misalingned in the game. base maps are all the same 1024x1024. No matter what I do, I see the same texture, replacing it doesn't change anything. 

    Gonna either start from scratch or I will abandon it completely and return to vehicles.

    Don't give up! Try using different software, maybe. Different programs have different exporters for both models and textures.

    When you export, do you have "export only selected items" (or whatever it is) selected? Do you have multiple UV maps? If so, is it exporting the correct one?

    If you want, I can try and fiddle with the .blend tonight to get it to export if you send it to me.

    So I restarted to work on the central and I have major issue:

    Standard track length, 10 units: multi stations are working

    I extend tracks by running the script, so they can be 28 units total (which, is the total lenght of the station), then it loses its multi track fonctionality, I can't paste a track on stations, having not on path blabla error. only one track remains fonctional when tracks are extended. 

    Any ideas about how to strech them ?

    I believe the maximum length a functioning station track can be is 144 meters (18 units). I haven't tested this extensively because doing so would be boring, but I have not had any success with longer tracks.

    I have done some testing using the script given to me by @Tim The Terrible

    The maximum I've managed to get a cargo station track to work has been 200 metres. I'm not sure if the same rules apply to the station station track though. It's a shame as some of the longer trains by @bsquiklehausen come in at around 300 metres, would have loved to make a freight station big enough to handle those monsters.

    Thanks for the feedback guys. I edited the tracks and indeed below 18 units for passanger station is the working length for multi station tracks enabled. 

    I will work on snapping modules to main station now, if you also have ideas, opinions on that, i'd appreaciate it,

    @squirrelarmyuk -  I really wish stations could get long enough as well, or realistic drive-through loading/unloading stations for things like the hopper and coal trains. The short versions of my trains just don't look as good snaking through mountains and deserts... Maybe someday...
