Nice! I was trying to make a ferry terminal something like this, but ended up abandoning it. This makes me want to give it another go... I'd sure like to have some proper RoRo ferries and ramps though!

Yeah im missing the ramps aswell, would make it so much more realistic.

This is the closest I've come with the current assets:

    iwvGsbg.jpg

So no, not even close to a realistic ramp :(

I scrapped mine, but here's the general approach I was using:

The port looks incredible. I did not even know skylines could make such a beautiful port. Its so difficult looking at these images and accepting that they are from a game and not real life. Very nicely done.

    Great work, as usual.

What is that building in the upper left? The big, odd-shaped one with part white tiles and part black?

Your work is way better than that of the popular youtube guys. When you actually mistake ingame screenshots for real world or satellite images, you know you've build a beautiful, realistic city. Do keep it up, your city is an absolute joy to watch.

Thanks. I've actually seen that Saturn store on the workshop before, but I always passed it by because it's in German. I spend a lot of time in first-person, so the German signs in a US city would bug the hell out of me, but I have to say, the building looks great in your screenshots.

And agreed with @TonyFullhouse Your shots always look fantastic. They could be mistaken for real photos.

You could put some workshop logo's or billboards over the Saturn logo's with the prop snapping mod

Amazing. I just got done looking at @Roadman20's Seattle, with several pics of the real Seattle, then I can in here, and for a second, I thought I was looking at more real-life photos. Especially that last one with the construction site. Your pics are some of, if not the best I've seen.

Question: Since Natural Disasters, how are you terraforming and reshaping your coast without the water demolishing your city? I don't even have the DLC, but now when I try to terraform, the waves knock down half my city and all power and transportation infrastructure. I'm working on a new city, but I haven't been able to terraform anything.

Really awesome update. You have a real talent with ground decals and textures. Question: On your second pic. What asset are those grain/mineral elevators called on stream?

If I'm not mistaken, those are the 'Coal transport shaft' asset from @Avanya.

And I believe the grain elevator itself is the '10A-FA-Elevator 2' from 10Avoid.

Yeah terraforming water sucks big time since the patch. I try to terraform small areas at a time, let the waves settle and then i terraform some more. Looks like the buildings can handle some amount of water without come crashing down

Brilliant pictures, you have a real knack for city layouts and space.

    Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

    This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage
