Excellent, I really like the effect on the windows, looks like a real life building in that sense, although yes, there is a lot to go =P

Wow! My kind of month! :D

Long time no see. I just wanted to pop in and say hi and remind you all that you continue to churn out great BATs! Though I've moved on from SC4 quite some time ago, I still should be logging in now and again when I have the time. :)

Great to see the activity!

Looks fantastic! But I agree with Stitch that the floors are really empty, just like a skeleton. maybe some furniture could work.

I'll take a quiet life... A handshake of carbon monoxide.

In the wake of a few admins retiring lately, we're happy to finally bring on two new site Admins: @Cyclone Boom and @Benedict :D

I'm really glad to have them on board. With the new site and features, it's great to have some extra administrative coverage around here.

Anyway, if and when you need elevated assistance, you now have a couple of other resources to turn to. More details as they develop...

Thanks, all!

Great news..! Time to render and upload this bad boy!

Looking great. I think you could scale the leaves a little more and work on the color a bit, and I believe you need to add some reflection to the glass. To me the glass does not look that reflective.

I could tweak the leaves a bit but I'm not sure about glass, I'm afraid it will take ages to render when I add more reflection to it :( (Not to mention time of the night render...) Besides you can see the reflections in side elevations :) They're just not that evident.

Besides, I used arch&design glass material, isn't it physically correct or something? :???:

Maybe just work on the ground plane you are using, that is what will be being reflected. What is the current one you are using?? :)

Looks better than before! I mean, I was already happy with the previous one, so any upgrade is always good!

SimCoug - Thank you :)

MushyMushy - Well, this style isn't really my cup of tea, I can only offer classical buildings of this ... caliber :D

cmdp123789 - Thank you! :)

Toothless Stitch - Soo... it looks good then? :P (since I aim to make a good recreation of the real building)

Yes, the windows are better now. Not too flashy, but there's just enough reflection to show the eye that there are windows, and to get away from that "empty black hole" look. Good update!

Looks great Aaron! :)

Are that flagpoles on the first render? Wouldn't it make sense to add flags then? :P

I can't see flags on any of the photos of this building I have, guess architects wanted to add them but company never cared enough to use them ;)

More exciting progress Seraf :)

This just popped in my head the other day - if there are to be future 'NYBT Month' themes, what about 'NYBT Bygone Month'... buildings that once graced NY but no longer exist (but can be resurrected in SC4:]

Possible idea fodder: http://www.businessinsider.com/new-york-buildings-that-no-longer-exist-2013-4?op=1

Not only idea fodder - there's also some Maxis stuff in there. This one, for example. :)

BTT, I like the night lights, Seraf! Should the blinds block the light entirely, though? In any case, I'd take it as it is without a moment of doubt. Keep going! :golly:

Aaron, that's another great one coming up! I'm still not used to the two of you making International Style stuff, but I bet it will be just as great as all your W2W residential mid-rises.

I wish Sgt Pepper and Paul joined the party - both have a great track record of buildings that would fit the bill...
