Looking good!

Fun fact: Carquest is owned by Advanced Auto Parts.

I remember them buying Carquest in 2013, but what I didn't know is that Carquest tends to be a more franchised brand that shows up in small towns while Advance usually is more the "house" brand and shows up in suburban areas and stuff, hence why those stores are more polished. I need to move that post to the SC4 thread, oops lol

First time showing anything other than custom assets on this forum, haha. Working on a Vienna inspired city, this is the riverfront I'm working on. This is a covered one-way metro track, the tracks for the other direction are buried underneath the avenue. There's also a working station underneath the pillars a bit further down the river, thanks to the wonders of new find it features :) (in combination with MOM's fantastic one-way tracks, of course!). I might make a city journal soon if anyone's interested...

I love that train running through. I tried to do the same thing once, but couldn't get it to cooperate.

I'm working on a new map after my Farrisco's Isle map was a success. This time based on Mount Mayon in the Phillipines. This map will come with a custom theme and will only need a few workshop items compared to Farrisco's Isle

I've fixed Appletown's horrendous infrastructure. Now i'm in progress of fixing its aesthetics *:D

Still going for a 'somewhat vanilla' approach.

It's not easy without destroying the layout and making it more logical. It is intentionally messed up to make it hard. It's a fun scenario though.

I tried beautifying it once or twice, found this old screen:

Been working on region based on Johto from pokemon though not sure if it is ready for city journal yet. The map used is the Johto map by Mortensenii on steam workshop.

Thanks Boformer, that means a lot coming from you haha.
I'm by no means an expert on this game, only recently started playing but after seeing other series on YouTube it got my creative juices flowing. I'm recording the entire building process so I've got all the footage for making a video series. Currently working on the custom theme music for the series (I'm a music producer irl) so I don't have to rely on copyrighted music and make it suit the series.

Let me share another screenshot I just made.

Imaginary river water pumping, treatment center & supply-line.
Spent days on this small patches... zoom out and realize only filled 0.01% of the map... oh shit...
(yea I just realize how "clarifier" works... gonna fix those pipe positions later :uhm: )

Well certainly nothing nearly as impressive as those hyper-realistic posts but here is another image of the Johto (Pokemon) region i'm working on *:). Lower left is Cianwood City, large city in background is Goldenrod City, and the city near top right is Violet City. Taken from an observation tower in my region's safari zone!

Everyone are making amazing cities & towns...
while this literally trash life of mine, if this even qualify as a life... just playing with trash...

4AdSnHJ.jpg

I suppose this is a good small-scale practices before I tackle the " bigger problem "... REALLY big problem... :boggle:
I try to refer to real world location whenever try to build something for references,
landfill seems to be something almost no one talk about and very little information available.
Even trying to find the landfill area in my own city, I was like "REALLY... that tiny patch behind the airport there?! REALLY?!"
The "South East Asia most advance waste management facility" located in my city, I can't even find out where the heck is it on Google Map!
At least I got a picture for reference...

Rest in peace Appletown, will resurrect that proyect someday...

Starting a new scenario with the same 'vanilla with sprinkles' approach, this time without mods. This is Pepper Lake of the Tornado Country region, after the deadly passage of, well, take a guess...

Interesting layout, I like the mix of gravel and pavement. But you gotta replace that standard highway intersection :D

To be fair, I just started the scenario, but yes, that access will definitely get overhauled * (Along with the boulevard too. Not the first time I played this city, so I know that it will bring trouble once I expand enough, specially since I plan on connecting it with the other stretch of highway on the other side of the map)

I am working on International Trade Fair / Conference centre in my new city called Ksiaz. For now complex itself is ready in about 65% but :D the "metro" station is finished. City will have pretty interesting transport system as backbone of it will be "metro" but not be typical heavy metro system but kind of hybrid between suspended monorail (2 lines) and sunken/elevated/underground tram (2 or 3 lines) supported by fast trams (part of route sheared with "metro") ordinary trams and to some extent s-bahn system. Ok enough talking xD

Thanks :) well without all the mod and asset creators it wont be same hmm i guess i wouldnt play. I remember this game late 2015 when i started it was like a month and i got bored i came back to it several months later when there was more on workshop. Keralis was like like  totally wow  xD. Local only stations mod was the start of true city rail :) This suspended monorail this is crazy i always loved system like this in Wuppertal so when i saw it on workshop i was like hell yes i want this (so when Polbrow save got a bit messed up it was one of factors to start fresh instead of trying to fix previous city ) Any way when it comes to transport there will be more crazy stuff in the city , i mean loads of sunken things ;)

Looking really good @garfield007__ Love how you put the different signs on the buildings.

I've started laying down the first neighborhood for my Japanese city.
