If you're doing some euro buildings, would you have a go at some low density ones? I think that's the one thing that's really missing now as CO didn't seem to bother with low density euro stuff at all.

Glad to hear you're not abandoning your Brooklyn theme! Selfish, I know, but I just want MORE! :D

I thought about that too, they are really missing. For now I stick with some mostly 4 storys though

Yay. Those look very familiar, as I could see these for years from my window.

I don't know if this is the place to ask or not, and if it's not, I apologize, but I subscribed to several of your buildings and I'm having a helluva time getting any of them to grow, especially the corner buildings.

    Any tips?

Mm, I dont know, the brooklyn stuff is low residential. Without a theme, the rowbuildings wont grow that often, but the corners should grow a lot, as there are no vanilla corners. Any specific buldings?

Oh! They're low-density? That might explain a lot. I was zoning high-density residential and expecting to see them and never could get them to sprout up. Only one of the 2x4 row-houses would grow. Nothing else. I'll try low-density.

Thank you, thats a nice collection with a few very useable pillars. Speaking of france, I just noticed Paris still has a couple kilometres of elevated metroline left, and the pillars are absolutly amazing :D

France is not Paris, Paris is not France. :D  Ahah.

About the Ligne 6, there is something you will like a lot : the Bir Hakeim Bridge. You have to search on the Internet others pictures. Its amazing.

Here are some old photos of this bridge (also cald "Viaduc de Passy") : http://www.cparama.com/forum/viaduc-de-passy-t14071-40.html

I could kill to have these pillars, the platform, the lamps... the whole is a masterpiece.

Sry, a bit late :(. Had not much time.

Thats an very nice bridge! I guess in theorie, its doable, but only if you make one pillarpair as the actual pillars and the addional pairs + the lamps as props...

I managed to do one building in little 5 to 10 minute steps over the past few days though.
A 4 story 2x3 residential with Tudor elements:

    C9nIpMe.jpg

    kqh76b8.jpg

Also I am creating high residential versions of all my 4 storys today.

[edit]: just noticed, the building is missing the frontal fireescape :D

I found a way to reduce the road segment distance ( = shorter pillar distance). But it will take a while to make a proper mod of it. Maybe it will be a part of the Network Skins mod:

Of course this mod increases the amount of network segments, and there is a limit for those. But if only elevated rail is affected, it will not have a big impact.

When I look at these pictures (I like them) I see two lines created by the cornices of the buildings. If you look closer, there are mostly three storeys and five storeys buildings. For storeys buildings are really missing and it's why I can see these "cornice lines." Maybe you need to create two buildings wich will broke these perspectives ?

(I have the same problem with my buildings... !)

EDIT : I'm okay with you high density buildings. But I think you can, if you want, have smaller buildings too. (level 4 or 5 with only 4 storys : if it's a town house for example. :)

Jeah haven´t created these missing 4(or 5 storys, depending on how you count) yet. But as they are the L5 buildings for brooklyn, they are next on the list. I added the bigger buildings just bcause the models were finished and they were only missing LODs and some maps :D

I'm gonna comb very slowly through your workshop pages to make sure I didn't miss any buildings. Keep up the awesome work!

Thx, maybe I manage to upload them Monday^^

Also I made a 1x2 and a 2x2, now there are only 1-2 1x3s missing and L4 is somewhat complete (at least complete enough to start L5s).
Screenshots showing the high density versions, but the Low density ones are the same (the two sandstone colored buildings with fireescapes in the center are the 2x2)

When's ETA on Commercial versions of these buildings, it's nice to mix zones but the style difference is a killer.

I'm doing american brick buildings which fits well with the Feinbolds buildings. It's called "American 1900" on my workshop. I can't work actually on these buildings but level one and two are more or less complete.

(sorry Feinbold for this personnal post :) )

[edit] just to clarify, there wont be any commercials any time soon,... sry. At least no low density, maaaaaybe some high density, but thats a big maybe.

I love the work here.. This is probably my first post here, but I got into skylines some time ago and your buildings are spot on for me. Offices are a nice idea, and having high rises to fill our downtowns altogether, even better. Looking at Manhattan as a compliment to your Brooklyn theme wouldn't be a bad idea :D

I'll just figure out a way to rezone your buildings to office/commercial. The American 1900 set is great but it breaks the style I'm going for.
