We can always use more SUV`s.Love your newest Creation.

Also that`s a nice touch for adding a Licenceplate on the Car even if we will never ever see it in the Game.

Keep on the good Work.

Much appreciated! The license plate is an easter egg of sorts for those who know how to open a .dat file. The SS Karma which was released with the steamships pack had a photo of the Heavy from TF2 included on the texture file!

    Eeew, crossovers!

Looks like you've pulled it off really well, though. Great work. :thumb:

Is the Escape a crossover? I've always assumed it was in the class of the CR-V, which would make it a compact SUV. If it's a crossover, then that would mean it's built on a car platform and it would be more like a chunky wagon.. Which in turn is a station wagon anyway given it's fuel efficiency and that it's not body-on-platform which almost every new SUV is going for a unibody design.. And then.. -Brain Short Circuits-

New Project- yet another Ford. And this one carries a rather questionable reputation.

The textures are a hodgepodge right now but it will be fixed once I have them properly coordinated on the model.

Been sometime since I've been here. Been playing Forza lately. Nice Fords, Airman!

Perhaps we could see the new Ford GT or the new Ford Shelby GT350R down the line?

There aren’t any plans for the GT just yet. There were a couple updates I wanted to make to another project which I’m hoping to start next. The one I want to revisit is the American Muscle Cars set. I’m not really satisfied with the model and the scaling/overall look is something I want to fix.

The Exploder, er Explorer was something I wanted to make for a long time but never had the chance to. It’s one of the most produced SUV’s out there and it consistently hold top positions for sales, trade-ins, and unfortunately complaints. The Explorer shown in the picture is a 2004 and I chose this year because I don’t really like the design of the new generation. I almost bought one for a first car. SUV’s and wagons were the one thing I had my heart set on so I can throw a few suitcases or hiking/camping supplies and go for a road trip. The Explorer was not a huge beast like the family Chevy so that was something I really liked. But the more I looked into Explorers and bringing up the Carfax on the ones I looked at I had to walk away from them after learning about chronic transmission and wheel bearing issues in every one. It’s also worth mentioning that almost every one I see for the 2002-2005 Explorer is the decorative panel under the rear window has a crack going through the Ford emblem.

:read: However, there is one other project I haven’t had the chance to test yet and I’m sure you’ll love it! It’s a little under wraps until I know it’s complete. All I will tell about it right now is it will be a coupe. The model is finished and I just put it into my plugins, now I just need to see how it behaves in the game. Once that’s done and I get some screenshots ready, I will make an announcement for them ;)

I'd better escape the struggles of daily life for a while and go exploring the excursionable history behind this edgy creation like a true maverick.

I must have gotten the right one in there somewhere, but to be clear my guess is it's an Explorer. Correct?

If you're up for an expedition, I want to escort you along the contours of the territory where the mustangs and the broncos roam freestyle and the galaxie shines bright. But first, I must focus on my mainline efforts to make the model perfect!

Oof, several of those I have never even heard of! And yes, it as an Explorer. Or Exploder depending on who you ask.

Yeah, see I was kind of going along the theme of SUV's only, but since ou already broke the mold, I feel like we might as well transit ourselves along a tourneo to connect ourselves with Ford's van models. Or maybe we could just abandon this whole theme because my idea factory is going kaputt.

Fun fact! The ford Escape is sold in Europe under a different, much worse name. Honestly. What the hell does "Kuga" mean?

edit: My theory is, the British headquarters rang up the German headquarters with the idea of bringing back the "Cougar" name from the nineties and the Germans just kind of went "Ja, Kuga, sehr gut."

That's strange; the Cougar that was sold in America was a coupe from Mercury, and it was not much more than a rebadged Thunderbird, a coupe. That would be like GMC renaming their Denali as a Fiero.

The Explorer is for the most part complete. More work is needed and testing will be underway.

I'm happy to hear you guys like my little treats!

Side note on the GT-R: the textures show the Nismo package. And though very small, the license plates read "GOH JRA".

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Now that the GTR's and Explorers are online, I will try to focus some projects that have been on ice. Hopefully the Sonic Cruisers can be revived and the rendering issues can be resolved. Otherwise, I may just end up doing another automata project.

The GTR is cool. :) Any plan on making the R32 and R34? I personally prefer them to the R35.

    Hey everyone,

I realize it's been one month since the last update was posted. I know it's been a little slow but I have had to shift my priorities to night classes on top of work. It's taken a lot of my time but I am working on projects whenever I have free time available.

I have pushed several files through the testing phase and I hope to have them up within a few weeks. But there is no definitive time frame in which a new update can be expected.

For the time being, just keep looking for the next update.

    Thank you, Phil!

It just seems like a drag when projects take a long time. Considering how crazy my schedule is, the constant delay of upcoming projects doesn't help.

I plan on making a series of releases soon. Most of them will be cars, some will be revisited projects, and to stay true to my username I will include one aircraft. Unfortunately it won't be the Sonic Cruisers; I still can't figure out why they won't render correctly. However, if there is anyone with more advanced Batting knowledge and wouldn't mind rendering just under 20 aircraft for me, you will have my utmost gratitude! And you would be the first to have the models before an official release!

I hope to have most of them ready soon. I just hope the double workload won't drive me insane first!

Well guys, after a long pause, I can finally deliver something! As stated before, I was planning on making a number of releases. Since I had the weekend free, I had the time to make a few revisits. The files that are ready are all car-related. The cars in question are the GT-R, the Huayra, and the 458 Italia. What's different about them? I did some work on them allowing them to go faster! It's not really a V2, more like a V1.5 since the models are still the same. This is why the covers have "Turbocharged" on them. The Huayra received some special attention and the model has been slightly enlarged to a more realistic size; the old ones were a little too small. And furthermore, the icons for both the Huayra and 458 have been updated to my new standard black icons.

As for any new projects? Well, i'll keep it as a surprise for now until these ones have been uploaded.
