That's more along the lines of what I was thinking. Thanks!

The other colors look good as well. The purple effect is subtle, but I think it works. Not sure how much it'll show up with the game's camera, but you never know...

    Thank you for the suggestions, guys! With the requests posted plus some of the others I had picked out, there will now be a total of 10 different colors. I think it should be enough since it hits on all of the more well-known colors as far as a stock representation will go. I also wanted to keep the cars fairly open-ended to allow for custom textures in case anyone wants to tool around with them.

    And with that, Skylines for SimCity 4 is now coming soon!

    I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

    @art128 Oh hey! That is the R35 in the foreground!
    Also in r34skyline10, the BTTF time machine can be seen at the top right corner!

    @9gruntsand1hammer Much appreciated! Airman's Assembly Line.. hey that has a nice ring to it! Perhaps if I can get to renaming this thread that could be the new title!

    Just a quick update to keep this thread at least somewhat active- I haven't been able to do much because night classes put the kibosh on my time for SimCity. But as of last week I am off the hook! Aside from my regular job I can finally push a couple of projects to the Exchange!

    Coming up soon, the New Routemaster will be on the Exchange. And later, there may be a special surprise posted here, too!

    Ohhhhhh....special Surprises?Sounds very exiting.And i also like the sound of " Airman's Assembly Line ".

    Also,there is one Thing for sure:There might be Times where People are a little qiet and lazy on commenting.It`s not the Replies that count,it`s the Number of happy Simcity Players that download your Stuff and enjoy them in Game.

    As for me,i really enjoyed them.Just yesterday i installed your new updated Muscle Cars,and man,they look greatI love watching the Traffic in my Game and see the new Cars..."oh look,the new Muscle Cars are on the Road,an orange Challenger chased by a cream Pagani Hy....thingymabob (i can`t even write it and don`t even think about speaking it)

    Keep reaching for the Stars,and may the Night Classes be over soon.Enjoy the upcoming Weekend,as for me,Weekend already started.Tomorrow is a Holyday and i use the Friday as a Bridge Day...muahaha!

    I think I'm probably the one who's the least used to my new name. I keep reading about this Thin White Duke guy and wondering who the heck it is. Fantastic uploads as always, mate! :thumb:

    Nice Volvo.... :)  Think you could craft a modern school bus? Something that could pass in any style of city.

    @Thin White Duke Thanks, mate! I'm happy to hear you are enjoying them!

    @art128 Thanks! A new school bus is possible, but I would have to get back to you on it. I already had a few requests pop up and i'm trying to figure out how to go about accommodating them. :boggle:

    I recently had a question brought to my attention about pricing. I'm not complaining about it; determining the wealth of cars gets a little iffy with a rigid 3-class structure in the game. I determine the wealth of cars based on their average selling price but it's decided upon at the time I make the model and how much they go for right at the moment.

    The wealth factors go like this:
    Low= Anything that can be bought for under $5,000
    Mid= Anywhere from $5,000 to $55,000
    High= Everything above $55,000

    For instance like the Subaru and the Explorer, they can be picked up in my area for pocket change compared to going to a dealer for new car. Most new cars that are at a dealer's showroom are priced so that you really need to be in a good standing with money to keep paying for them. In other cases like a Skyline GT-R (not counting the effort it would take is importing was possible), I've seen prices go above the $55,000 range for ones in good condition.

    Alright. No worries it's not urgent. :)  It's just that the stock yellow one (Or the white replacement) doesn't fit at all Japanese theme, and the euro van replacement on the stex gives me some weird graphical glitches. :P

    Going forward, there will be more road vehicles. Since there is a lot of demand for this type of automata, it will be the center of my focus for a while longer. I can tell you that I have at least three different ones planned; two, maybe three more US models and another Euro model. Hopefully there can be some aircraft in the future as well.

    Progress is slow again with RL in work. And there is something big I am looking to start within the month. Once I get the ball rolling on all of the above, there will be some big announcements on each of them!

    Yep,that`sv totally me.Stupid Name and the Car isn`t very pretty too.

    @airman15

    Big Announcements,huh?Sounds very exiting and those mentioned US Cars sound great.

    And yes,there is always demand of Road Vehicles.Not only regular Cars,but also all that other Stuff you can see in a busy City:Busses,Emergency Vehicles,Maintenance Vehicles,Garbage Trucks,Ice Cream Trucks etc...

    I`m very curious to see what are you planning....

    The next US car will have three of these traits: It was built by a company that no longer exists, it was a star in NASCAR, and if you find one in mint condition it can cost half of a million dollars which is insane for a 40 year old design! I'm certain this car will be one @DavidDHetzel would appreciate and @Thin White Duke would be shocked over.

    The next project to get an update will be the Euro model. I'm holding off on it until final testing is done and I have a cover photo.

    These projects will be given as much of my attention as possible. College classes are over and I have received two of the three certificates I earned through college! And that's not all of it! If all goes well throughout these next few months, then let's just say my username will have some added meaning behind it!

    @Cool_Z- Good guesses, but not quite. The car will be of that era, and it's has a very distinct addition, well two. It was often associated with a Looney Toons character.

    @philforhockey51- Hahaha! That looks like something out of the Wacky Racers!

    I love old cars named after rocks and cartoon birds.

    And good luck with becoming a pilot, mate! You can fly on over to Elko, NV anytime! :lol:

    @philforhockey51- Oh my god! I actually guessed it right! It's funny, a lot of the shows I watched growing up were the same ones my old man remembered.

    @Cool_Z- The sad thing about the car is even though it became a racing legend, they didn't sell too well with the public and a lot of unsold units got parts swapped to make it more desirable. But Plymouth didn't have much of a choice, any car that was going to participate in NASCAR needed to have a certain number of units produced to be eligible. Now they have a regulation stating that all cars must be similar in performance and aero qualities.

    @Hotwheeler- It does! Roadrunners had a specially made horn to make the same sound as, well, the Roadrunner. A lot of Plymouth's advertising showed the car and it's namesake together for magazines and so forth.

    @Thin White Duke- The classics can be surpassed, but they can't be beaten! They still look amazing and perform beautifully. That's more than what can be said about a lot of modern cars. Who knows, maybe the Fusion will be a classic one day? And thank you so much! I'm going for the Sports license hoping it will eventually be a stepping stone to getting the private license. Say, Elko happens to be right off I-80.. I bet I could pull off a road trip too!

    We could have a race one day. Roseville - Elko, you in a Cessna 182 or whatever and me in an 1970 Camaro SS. Loser buys the winner a burger. :)
