One of our members MsD, is in the hospital with a severe infection in one of her shoulders.  According to Truckin_Papa, a friend of hers, there is a possibility that she could loose her arm.  To all of the members who want to wish her a speedy recovery, post below with your well wishes and I'll add you to the Get Well list.  With that said, I'll start.

MsD - From reading the stuff that you have posted in the Moose Factory, you strike me as the kind of person who is a fun-loving person with a really good outlook on life.  Such a person is a rarity in this world, where the majority of people have a sullen perspective of their lives.  I hope that you get well soon, and we'll keep your seat warm in the Moose Factory.44.gif

Well, I'd say get well soon, etc., but it's cliche and everyone else is doing it.  So, expressing my creativity, I will wish you well in a different way:

Go white blood cells!  Make her get wells!  Eat the germs and send them to hells!

(Hey, biological cheerleading... how cool is that!)

Get well soon.

Tomorrow... One of my best ST friend... Tomorrow... it's my birthday.  I hope the gift will go to her and that it will be the best one we could dream of: a gift of good health.  It will be my wish for her when I'll blow on the candles on top of the cake.

I'll make mine plain and simple, but with meaning... Get well!

The person to thank is Truckin_Papa.  He was the one that mentioned it in the Moose Factory.  I merely made it a little bit more public knowledge.

I've been so stunned that I started a thread in the Cummunity Goings-on (that's where I looked to see if there was something about it). Sorry for the duplicate. My thoughts are still the same.

    Good Evening Everyone,

I have read all of the posts that were made in this section and in the other section that was made.  It looks like this was the first one created so I am just going to post here.

First, Thank you to all who have responded to this post and for showing your concern and friend ship towards MsD.  I have prited out all of the posts so that I can take them and show them to her.  I am sure she will be thrilled to know that eveyone is thinking of her.  She is always talking about this web-site and the things that go on here and the people she has met.  So I know it will mean a lot to her to here from everyone.

Second, an update on her health.  I spent most of the day with her today, and I will be with her again tomorrow.  The Doctors have order another surgery for tomorrow morning, in an attempt to cut out the infection with out having to take her arm.  So knowing how concerned you all are will help keep her spirits up.  Naturally she is very scared about the out come of the surgery tomorrow.

Apperently the infection was caused by something that was left in after the orginal surgery to repair the damaged tendons and ligaments.  And Deb apperently waited to long to say somthing about it.  She has always been the type to play off how bad somthing is and keep things like that to herself.  She has always worried more about how others feel more then she worries about how she feels.

I will try to make sure I update everyone again tomorrow.

    Thanks again.

Although I have never faced the prospect of losing a limb, I understand that it is quite frightening.  That said, I sincerely hope that the doctors are able to stop the infection and that you will be able to rest easy knowing that you will be safe.

    Get well soon.
