Quick question, chappers: Did you use any of the natural resources in the cities, or were they working?

One more thing, chappers: Can you provide some ground views in your city(ies)?

i used the oil fields but i had to point and find the actual place of the resource cause you know of the shifted maps 

 

And ill add some ground views in the journal that will be posted soonish®

Yeah I may have to uninstall Project Orion when I'm doing my "Building an Ore City" and "Building an Oil City" series.

until we can find another work around I know.. or you have to float your tool around until you get values to show up .. in pvt I should give you the alternative values so you can play with them.. they are unstable though

 

that's why we didn't use them with orion release

After some tryouts with Orion, here is my first cities with it.
It's not as good as Chapper's, but I think it's worth showing.

ok I've decided to take a serious look at this mod, don't expect anything fantastic..as I don't have the patience lol...

 

but this is frontier plains from titan gorge, I like big flat open areas and this region is "mostly" great for this...

 

now amaze me tell me what you think I should put on this city, i'm biting the proverbial bullet and using ploppables...

 

what region is everyone using to make their big cities that i'm seeing on here??

Here's a teaser of another city i'm working on.

In this map you're able to create a huge sprawling metropolis thanks to Orion. I'm still growing it, but i plan to have one map mostly for suburbs, two for mid density, and one for the city center.

The region is Titan's Gorge, in the Settler's Rest group of cities. Highly recommended for Orion play.
